Playstation 3 patch 1.80 makes me love Sony again

Full patch notes here.

Summary: They finally added the much awaited PS1/PS2/DVD upscaler. It upscales the video content of PS1/PS2 to HD resolution and adds full screen anti-aliasing (smoothing). It also upscales DVD (480p/480i) to HD (720p/1080i/1080p) quality. You can turn on/off the feature if the game or dvd looks strange using it.

    I own a PS3, a 360, and a wii.........do they have an MMORPG? Nope.

    I for one would say,"let's not even talk about them here until they do."

    Can you play Final Fantasy XI on PS3?

    Yeah, the PS2 version would work on the PS3, I think.

    Unfortunately there are no mmo yet for PS3 but it's just a matter of time ...well you can play FFXI from the PS2 on a PS3.

    also the ability to access your ps3 from anywhere in the world with your psp...(with the new FW 3.50 that should release for psp next week)

    Since FFXI was compatible with the PS2, it is automatically compatible with the PS3.

    Now with 57.3% more flames!

    I love how threads that get moved from the Pub always have people crying that the thread isn't about MMORPG's on the first page, and then as soon as it goes to off topic our people just pick up the discussion like the pub people should have done in the first place.
