People tend to take way to serious that freaking game.... Anyhow good luck to those still playing, seems like my concept of that game is being reinforced more everytime. Heh, ironic.

After the late incident I was very well willing to move on and give the understanding that, from the business point of view, the handling of the incident, then it was finally handled, was all I could ask for as well as how it was done. Although the one thing now is, that I'll take my money somewhere else.
PS: Damage control on their official forums, huh? I'd say funny but it isn't really.
I joined the "Help" channel in EVE to see if there was any chatter regarding this and ...oh my. I suppose since the forums are now disabled the Goons began posting in the public channels. Blue, then Red mods began moderating the channel. Just now Yellow ("gluon" Vice admiral with ISD/STAR one of the leads of the player support organization) is now modding as well. They have been handing out some sort of ban to anyone whom posts the link to the Goon site or mentioning what the statement said.
I dont normally get involved in drama bombs but this is too entertaining, and yet still sad. I love EVE but if Goons post turns out to be accurate then I can no longer support CCP by renewing my sub. Tis a sad day.

Down with the corruption!...just leave the all powerfull isd/ccp players/employees play their game *cough* ALONE. Why does ppl have to pay 15 bucks a month to get scammed/cheated. FFS!

The sad thing is that letter is completely False. There is not one truth in it.

The entire game would be far better off if CCP just banned everyone in goonfleet.
I really feel sorry for some of you posters on here, you really need to get a clue what the goons are trying to do and I guarentee you it will not be favorable to you in any way.

Can the pages and pages of chat logs, screenshots, testamony, and documentation be doctored? I guess so, but its far more proof than the CCP/BoB/EVE apologists have given us. Usually, their response to the proof is a few well-placed "trust me"s, a couple, "don't trust the accusers," and a whole load of "the game's integrity means a lot." In other words, no solid defense, other than the same line I see here of, "these things can be falsified, ergo they are false." But then if they are so obviously false, then why haven't we seen any proof that these things are doctored by the CCP/BoB/EVE apologists?

Re-occurring claims about whatever negative stuff happened or is going on right now, will hurt the company and game as a whole.
Now that is neither denial nor acknowledgement from my side in regards to the news. Yet, after this infamous other late incident, I tend to say the nay-sayers or those who say that's all made up, do not convince me easily or at all. Especially if there is no backup provided whatsoever for their claims. Being vocal doesn't serve your cause very well. Facts and actual proof does.
I was pretty tired myself of threads like the BE WARNED: EVE DEVELOPER CAUGHT CHEATING one and not only said so, but also agreed with Kyleran in this thread, on this specific topic. This doesn't mean I will just dismiss new information which are brought to light. This stuff is something totally new and it's bad either if true or not.

It would be an easy task for someone who really wants to create such drama to doctor some images. They can easily create a DX overlay program to display any text they want on the game window...Hell, NVidia has an option for this if you look hard enough
Also, if you take a print screen of the game and paste it directly into photoshop as opposed to editing the screenshot, you can edit the palette however you want. Set a new profile, open another "real" screenshot from EVE, and merge color palettes. Only lossy samples edit the RGB count.
Also check out the dimensions of the "screenshots" and the format change.

Why the change in resolution beyond the normal 1024x768. Only time EVE saves images at diff resolutions is when the mode is changed from full screen to windowed, or the window itself is moved in Windows.
But...about this entire thing, I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the show. No point making arrangements to leave the game over something that may or may not be true...wait for the hard facts people
the problem if u use photoshop the adobe let a code on the file aand start whit "ADOBE ...." if u edit that the file never open

You can take off the encoding on any ADOBE file with ease. Download adExtract for Linux (I know there is one for windows as well but dont remember the name)
Not to mention, there are a million other graphics programs available for use
Why change jpg to png 30 minutes later?
Not saying this guy is lying, but there are numerous ways to make fake screenshots.
That's why they're generally not accepted as evidence by *anyone*
The simple fact is that someone (much more than 1 person) with insider knowledge of the game, such as where rare things are, or what changes will be happening, etc.. is involved with a player alliance.
They should not be playing at all, or should only be allowed into a special corp that is clearly marked as a dev corp, for devs only.

I dislike BoB a lot, I am not in 0.0 right now because of them. But I have a lot of experience with the goons too and they are much worse.
The goons are losing to BoB in the game, so there only recourse is to lie, cheat, steal to get their way.
This is just another goon antic which has NO basis in fact whatsoever.
I just wish CCP would bite the bullet and ban the entire goon alliance, the game would be far better off!
Note: all devs should play their game, if they don't they have no way of knowing the problems in the game. Suggesting the devs should not play Eve is just ridiculous. All that would do is give us a worse game.
