wow reminds me of playing my old shammy in unrest back before any expasions and hearring CHOO CHOO TRAIN TO ZONE!!!! And running for the zone chanting the mantra "please dont ghoul root me it'll cancell my sow"
Ahh...the boat....how many times did I fall off the boat while drunk only to be killed by cyclopses that had 'wandered' out to sea after being kited? Actually got killed while ON the boat when a shark got glitched up and onto the deck once. Fun times...and back in the era of the corpse clock too.

This one is one of my favorite screenshot bits, but it takes a little set-up. It's not "classic", since it was after the chat channels were added, but it is classic in another way. This was before the Hate revamp. We wiped in the Maestro house. My husband, one of the crazier clerics anywhere ever, grabbed a wizard and ran naked to rez people. A couple of necros and SKs, including myself, were FD there, so I got a front row seat to watch this bit of cleric suicide hilarity:

Yeah, at one point one of the mob type in PoF dropped them as well though when I took this SS that wasn't the case yet I don't think. Can't remember which mob though but course that was back in the day when Russet armor dropped in PoF.
The oceaon of tears and that slow ass ship. I never spent much time there aside from riding the boat.
I can't remember the name of that dungeon but I do remember camping the gnolls that spawned around the spires outside. That rain was a neat effect but it could get you lost and made hunting difficult.
Everfrost, right after that pitch black cave that you could get lost and killed in if you didn't have a light source or racial nightvision. Nice atmosphere in that zone and the entrance to the dungeon was awesome.
The goodies got this grandiose boat to go to Kunark while us evils got a floating pile of wreckage.
The original spell effects are still my alltime favorite. I'd play the game again if there were some way to get them to display in their original form. Nice looking goodie town while us evils had like a few rundown walls to bind/bank in. However this was slightly offset by the fact that druids were KOS in doggie form in Firona Vie and many found out the hard way.
Overthere, the ONE SINGLE place it was actually advantageous to be an evil race/class. It was always great watching the goodies run for there lives whenever a dragoon showed up. For a long time there would be at least 3 groups grinding at this particular camp spot. The best place for exp was actually in the ruins down the hill on the other side of the road.
