Founders key offer end today or on may 30?

in Lord of the Rings Online
I have read through the lotro forums and there seems to be a discussion if the last day to buy and enter a founders key ended at midnight today or on May 30th.

Some said they got a message in their email that they had until the 30th, did anyone else get this email?

All the ebay sales seem to say the 24th, I did a general search of ebay by entering lord of the rings online founders key and only a couple people showed up. http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=lord+of+the+rings+online+founders+key&category0=

You would think if this was the last day alot more would show.

    Our records show that you have not yet upgraded your Pre-order subscription with a retail product key. To maintain uninterrupted access to the game you must apply your retail product key on or before April 29th.



    They emailed me to let me know I didn't buy the game and must register by the 30th if I want to stay eligible for the special pricing.



    So you have until April 29th.

    question i pre ordered my copy from wal-mart and got nothing about a founders key code what did i miss here?

    If you pre-ordered you should have received a Founder's Key (that you could have used for the beta)



    When registered the game is $9.99 a month, or you can do a lifetime subscription for $199



    Regular folks will be paying $14.95 or $14.99 a month

    People were still selling the codes on Ebay.

    i would suggest if you did not get 1 to find out about it prolly 2 late now but you get special items with founders key not that there that flash but are good for newly created toons plus the founders key was so you can carry your open beta characters for final launch.

    It's after midnight and now it's the 24th of May at Turbine and people are still buying these and according to feedback iv'e read they are still able to apply the founders code. probally takes turbine/midway awhile to actually change the servers to not take the codes.

    so if i've already put pre-order key into my account but not yet retail key I still got 6 more days before i am no longer eligible for founders program?



    MAN I was scared I missed the boat to put my retail key in!!!

    I can't believe that on the official lotro forum site they posted a warning about purchasing  Founders Keys from 3rd party's! Where the hell else are people suppose to get them?

     But yet I ask when this program is ending and they can't answer a simple question though!!??

    The FAQ's are so outdated! Is this a sample of their "customer service /support" to come?

    Now please do tell me, have you "Pre-Ordered" the game? I Would assume NOT, So how can you even complain???? It is completely your fault that you have to start scrying through 3'rd party company's for Founder keys, because YOU could have pre ordered the game if you wanted to get it in first place....... And it makes sense hat they have warned people as these kind of 3'rd party company's tend to be unreliable [Though not all]............



    I Just can't STAND people complain without even using their heads to see if there is any sense in their complains

    Again we have wrong info here! A Pre-order is the same as the Founders Key and of course the last post was off topic.

    2 days ago I bought 2 keys off Ebay and they worked fine, then another family member wanted to play so I went out an bought a third copy of the game yesterday.  I was afraid to buy another key off Ebay in case the program ended.

    All I was looking for as to when the program ended! And No one could give a straight answer.

    So just to let you all know...I just entered the 3rd key this morning and the Founders Program was activated. So my Huge complaint was the lack of accurate info to be found at the LOTRO forum or even here.

    May 31st is the absolute last day you can enter your Pre-order key, and that's it. It will be gone from the website afterwards.

    Seems to be some ebay sales still for the founders key, don't do what I did and search for founders key in the ebay search string 700 items or so will pop up. I narrowed it down more with lord of the rings online founders key , that semmed to work alot better. Anyhow it's the 26th and sales of the key are still happening.

    Votary, you must be right I did a search on ebay for lord of the rings online founders key and there are sales with feedback showing the key worked today.

    I wish Turbine would have at least upated their FAQ's so that there wouln't be so much confusion.

    You could always call Turbine account support and get the true answer from a reliable source. I called them and they said 30th was the last day but expect glitches in the system and that I could always contact a CSR directly to enter the key. But as I say the best way to know for sure is simply call Turbine for yourself if you are that curious.

    U.S. promo is different to European Promo. Have had this confirmed by Codemaster.

    Euro promo does not end. If you have a valid founders key you will be able to enter it at any point ot activate the founders programme. The option will only disspaer from your account/billing page once you have entered a valid founders key, otherwise its up to you to decide whether to keep paying monthly or to take the plunge and go for life!!

    Keep in mind, EU players dont have a time limit on when they have to register their special offer.
