Sword or dagger?

I have a level 70 pally as my main so i really am new to the dps community, i now have a level 29 rogue i am semi twinking to get some pvp items for leveling, i am currently specced sword with a butcher MH and a cruel bard OH and i was wondering if i should stay like this, or go dagger while im pvp, or if dagger is better all around.

    What about both ?  A dagger in the main hand, a sword in the other ?  It really depends of what you like the most.  Do you like to stealth around, ambush your enemies from the shadow, then go daggers.  If all you want is pure dps, go swords.

    Carry a Dagger to do Ambush, but also carry a good slow sword for SS in mainhand.lf you've made your rogue so he crits a lot he'll do a lot of damage

    Using SS in PVP is a newb tactic and doesnt work very well in pvp it is good to focus on having good stun locks both pve and pvp.

    hmmm the stun lock tactic i really cant start till 30 though. right now how i do it is I Cheap shot > SS > gouge > SS > eviscerate and its usually over, im sure the tactic will work alot more when i get kidney shot though

    Well to level go swords and the current setup you have is great, but for pvp go daggers with imp ambush. The main thing a lot of people dont realize tho when they are playing with swords, is its better to go for a heavy hitting sword with a slower speed because all rogue attacks are instant cast. If you want a great dagger for a lvl 29 twink rogue go down into gnomeron where they have the elemental sludges and the one boss elemental has like a 6-7% drop rate of the toxic advenger. Its BoP so have someone take you through.

    Level up, swords. PvE = Combat (and honestly doesn't matter a lot if dagger or sword there, combat daggers slightly better in shorter fights, sword combat in long fights)... PvP = Depending on playstyle 100%
