I have found a bug, it may have been noticed b4. Those ships you see in a system that are on the very edge of the system (the ppl who logged off), are shown to the players who enter there that they are not moving. When in fact they are moving, normally in a clockwise direction around the outside of the system. Now to see this find a system where there is a ship on the outmost part of the system, and make sure they are not logged in, then enter something, then came back and you will noticed that they moved. This is I bet that the details of the movement of the ship is basically handled by the client, and the server will only update your client just when you enter that system.
So what is needed is a constant update to all clients, of what ship is moving where, of the players who are logged off, by the server to all clients connected at that time, in respect to what sector each client is seeing at that moment.
Now at first when I ran accross this I thought this ship was invincible but in fact it wasnt. The ship was just moving away from that location at a slw rate. When I finally found out what was happening then I simply went to the spot the ship was shown and went in the direction of that ships assumed movement and kept shooting to kill it, and that worked.

The problem I'm having is, even when i anchor, if i don't log out, and walk away for a bit, say for dinner, phone call, or whatever.. come back in 30 minutes and I'm not in the same place. even anchored i find i've drifted into the gravitation of the star, or some planet.
If I anchor and log off, I find when I log back in, the same problem. I'm not where I was when I logged off.
How well is anchoring your ship supposed to work? seems to me it may slow the drifting some, but I still drift.
I have the same problem.
