in Granado Espada Online
When will this game be released? Do you think it will be a good game and have a good launch? or will it fail after the first few weeks after launch like RFO did?

    Currently Sword is slated to come out somtime in July.  They are starting their closed beta next week for people who pre-ordered and premium Fileplanet members.  Their open beta starts on June 15th.  You can still sign up to get in their beta on their website. www.swordofthenewworld.com

    There are a few haters here but really, most of us are willing to give K2 enough rope to hang themselves with.  I am highly interested to see what they change.

    Rocksha, you can try the game by clicking turnipz link.  It's a different version than SotNW, but it's in English and you can see if you like it.

    ah ok, thanks. What is the difference between the one he linked me and this new one coming out? SotNW is an updated version im guessing?

    They are slapping a 10$ a month fee to accompany the item mall in SotNW.

    I beta tested Granado Espada, and I will say I enjoyed it. I don't know if GE actually works anymore, my client stopped working after the beta finished up (unless I missed some update). Anyway, if you're looking into it, I'd suggest try it. I think it's free? If so, go for it.

    Thats right. SotNW:GE will have updates that Granado Espada singapore won't get.

    The difference between SotNW and the English-language Granado Espada is that they cater to different regions.  SotNW will be marketed towards North America and Europe, while Granado Espada is the Singaporean version.  They will apparently have different features for their respective markets, with K2 Network handling the SotNW localization, and IAH Games doing Singapore's.



    The only other major difference is that SotNW will charge a monthly fee of $8.95, though the game is free to play until you hit level 20.  Granado Espada's pricing plan hasn't been announced yet, but it is widely believed to be free to play since that's what it is in almost every other region it's been released in.

    The closed beta ended, and your client will no longer work if you still want to play it.  GE has since gone into open beta, where anyone who registers can play, and your characters won't be deleted this time around.  You'll have to download the new client if you want to play it again.
