In The End

I remember when I bought this game with pictures of Player controled Aircraft carriers with real player controled tanks, AAA,infantry, airplanes, destroyers and Subs (not going to happen in my lifetime) from every world power. I took it home and got into the game on the 4rth day of release. Its funny to look at the game back then. With very flat graphics we fought  it out  along roads from trucks. Then we found out you could get into the enemies truck and it became a game on its own. I only saw only one plane, a slide show with some  tracers coming out of the  front. He was shooting at a town though I dont think anybody was there. It was a joke for a start but at the same time it was AWSOMELY Different. When the tanks got into the action we started a free for all cap of the world map. Even Infanty sitting on airplane wings could cap a town hundreds of miles behind the lines. Then came the bunker rushing and cp rushing. The best time I ever had playing this game with my squad Stermgrandier. I loved to fly though I was never good at it. Then sadly they went to Brigades and alot of my squad left. Even worse they changed the INF predictor (table timers sux too) and my SMG (my Fav) was rendered worthless. I had some hope at the last release but they changed it back again. I just unsubscribed from the game . Creating High Command, CRS failing to deliver true supply, loss of player base, old bugs, and a nerfed SMG cause of the Inf predictor code have eaten away at me. I got to feel for the Allied players moral even though we are mortal enemies forever. Allied moral has hurt the game as of late. Moral has a real impact.....( I hate you but I need you Allies!!). Interesting what the end result of pure PVP on moral is. But somehow I wanna go back and resubscribe, I guess I got to emotionaly attached  to the game. I dont want to see it fail.  I dont want the RATS to loose there jobs, but I do imagine they could use some sleep and be somewhat of a relief.  There is no other game like it. But its time maybe running out without a infusion of new players.

A unity 3 engine with all the world powers, with aircraft carriers and subs with a few hundred thousand players would surely cure my ills. I am sure it could  happen.  I just want to be alive when it does.

PS    I think the Allies have the most numbers (till this last campain) and the (always) best equipement.   I know the Allies  think the same of us.  Such is the nature of pure PVP.

PSS Only the Allies cheat!!!! (had to take one more stab at ya)

It happens, sometimes you need to get away from this game at times. And then there is that last time you step away and never come back. I still have fond memories of WW2OL, and pop-in now and again with my squads generic account to get that once a month rush. However for a lot of us players that played years ago, it is a vastly different game (good or bad) that just doesn't cut it anymore. GL whereever you go, but don't forget about the good times, and perhaps try it out again from time to time.

Oh yea almost forgot, you are so right, Allies are the only ones that cheat

Funny how the Axis always say that, once it leaks out and the Allies start using the same exploit that the Axis worked so hard to uncover and use after each update

lol the allies had spawn hacks on in World War 2, hence all the sherman's they built lol there was like 5 sherman's to every tiger tank

ROTFLMAO, now that funny.  You get tank ratios as CRS put different costs per tank and thus different spawning numbers per spawn.   Done after total map collapse when they had 5 tigers per AB.    Plus it's faster so easier to overstock.  Ahh, the lovely side bias crap lies that both sides did and the clueless people buying into it, kinda fond memories reminding me one of the smaller reasons I left.
