Since it hasn't been mentioned and I thought some people my be interested... It seems that they offer a 14 days trial to test the graphically updated Ultima Online.

    It does actually, which is why it might not interest everyone. I do not understand why they decided to require one, but it is how they choose to do it.

    It's just a graphical upgrade, no new content (Not that I've played UO in years anyway) but the new graphics look good at a standstill, but that's it. Your character actually doesn't look like it is connected to the game world. Feels like he's just floating around. It really does not "feel" very well done. The new interface reminds me of WoW and every other MMORPG out right now. The only thing that SEEMED like an improvement would be the spell effects, which are much brighter, more fun to look at, and flow a lot better.



    As a package though, seems like it won't be anything special.

    You would think they would be splashing screenshots and pictures of the new graphics all over their website.   NOT.   I looked hard all over the site and gave up looking. If they are not proud of how they look now...then I'm not either.Then again its some Mythic people who were pulled over to do the graphics project and that might explain a few things.

    Oh, and they added a greeter to guide you along the way. Just like every other dumbed down mmorpg out there. The conversion to a crappy, 2d isometric (sorry, I do not consider the "upgrade" to be any more 3D than the original) WoW copy is complete.

    I myself don't like the game but would not bash it seen as how long this game has been running and as for the graphics updates it looks alot nicer now.

    lol is everything that you post utter crap or is it just these recent weeks you cant post anything decent. This game is NOTHING like WoW, it doesnt look like WoW, it doesnt have lvls like WoW, it has houses unlike WoW. This was one of the first ever MMOs, this game WAS great until EA got there hands on it.

    Decided to correct your statement about one of the pioneers in the MMO world.
