THinking of trying but server numbers??

BirathenBirathen Member Posts: 48
Im thinking about trying it out. But looking at the numbers of players on the european servers is.. Disheartening. According to the numbers on Chronicles of chamelot there is only 193 people online on Excalibur server. Even less on the other 3. Are these numbers correct?

DAOC servers are set up in clusters, so you want to look at the whole cluster -  MOST of the game world is shared between the multiple servers.

www.camelotherald.com is a good up to date place to look, just look on the right-hand column for pretty accurate numbers of people currently logged in.

Hmm, installed and about to try it. Problem is... I run Vista 64. Atleast Im guessing that is the problem.

I can login allright and such but when I get to the "Choose your realm" screen and click on a realm the game crashes. Vista in all its glory lets me know the program has stopped working but not why.. Anyone had this and found a way around it? I tried disabeling the UAC as somone on another forum suggest, dint work. I tried different compability modes and running it as administrator. Still crash at the same place.

Hmm I used to play DAoC back when I still had my Vista x64 Ultimate edition.. Actually don't remember having any problems playing any games at all on my Vista 64. Not sure what may be causing those crashes bro

I'm glad to hear you joined.  Not too sure what the problem could be.  Other than having no sound for a month (thanks Creative) I haven't had any problems running it on Vista Ultimate
