The Journey of Heros (EQ2 Three Part Video Story)

CrestguardCrestguard Member Posts: 112

Seems that Sony is making a story to tell to keep our mouths watering.  They have a story they are telling and are releasing in three parts (only part 1 is out right now) and there is in game video footage to go along with it.  Though it seems that some screenshots havealready been taken from the footage we see, it is still a refreshing video that is not too shabby.  It shows a bit of the classes doing their thing, including a barbarian fighter jumping in the front line, a dwarf priest buffing him, and a mage in the back blasting orc's away with fire and lightning.  The first takes place outside an orc camp, while it seems the second video will be that of the battle with the Nightbloods, and the third a battle against the large dragon in Cazic-Thule.  Just thought I'd let everyone know of it, and see what you all thought of them.

Edit:  Haha, I forgot the link...

The quality of the video is amazing.. combat is REALLY fast.. unless they changed the speed for the video. To those that want to watch it I recommend repeating it several times or you will miss many details.

I noticed this too, and I remember reading somewhere that they increased all battle speeds to make fighing more exciting.  So now instead of having some classes just sitting idley by during fights *cough*takns*cough* while hitting maybe one or two buttons while auto attack does it's trick (and with a delay of 30 or more it isn't too exciting) fighting will be quicker and there will be more to do during it, the HO's hopefully playing an important role...
