I miss it........is there anything else?

I started playing SWG within months of its release and I played it until the NGE hit servers, non stop. Since then, I have played Lineage 2, Everquest 2, COH/COV, Guildwars, Vanguard, WoW,  a whole bunch of korean games and honestly,  not one has been able to keep my attention like SWG did. I loved the freedom I had in SWG. Even CU was not bad since we were able to mix different professions.

Now all these games seem so boring, the graphics dont compare to SWG's and I just plainly miss it.

Is there anyone that knows of a game out there that can help me through this rut? Something with the freedom of SWG. Where the towns and wilderness arent zones, its all one place. Where I can have some mount/vehicle. Where there are skills and not just a number guiding my toons strength. nice graphics. something like the real SWG. Thanks everyone.

    I think a lot of us are enjoying our summer.  Go outside and try that game called "Real Life".  It has really good graphics.



    Just wait for a good game to come out.

    I am always outside, but on days where its raining, like it currently is in eastern ontario, i would like to enjoy a good game. tv sucks and there isnt a hell of a lot to do inside.

    plus, dont judge people by posts, i know "real life" is great. i have a great job, amazing girlfriend and great friends and family. im outside all the time. all i asked is if there was a "game" i could play that compared to SWG in its prime. not what substitutes there are in general to gaming. Thanks again for your post.

    I was not judging you.   I am not happy with the current games that are out.  So I am not playing any.  So if my post sounds condescending it is not.  It describes the situation I am also in.

    sorry about misreading your post.

    i guess this means there are no games like swg used to be.

    Why not return to SWG? it is what I currently play. I played at launch up untill CU hit. Then came back close to a month ago. Its is not really the same game,but it is still fun,thats what counts. With beast mastery in the game now its even better. The old dev team broke the game,and this new team seems to know what they are doing. You should check out the official swg forums.

    the current swg is the reason why i left. i dislike the combat system, target system and the classes. and the continued reference to the first 3 sw movies. i need something with freedom and swg no longer provides that. it seems there are no games that provide that anymore.
