My Beta Key worked...BUT..

in Ultima Online
It takes me to the Payment screen where I have 3 options which I MUST select one from:



1. UO Samurai Empire  12.99/month...first 15 days free

2. UO Age of Shadows  11.60/month for 3 months...first 15 days free

3. UO Age of Shadows  10.00/month for 6 months...first 15 days free





There are no other options.



Nowhere do I see Kingdom reborn and I sure dont want them to charge my card ect or have to put in that info. Its all irrelevant to me if it does not say "Kindom Reborn" anywhere.



I will not continue my signup process until I get a firm answer.

    I think they made a mistake somewhere if thats the case. Or they haven't fully done the process yet, they weren't ready when Fileplanet first put it all up as it wasn't accepting keys. Still downloading, maybe it will be fixed in the next few hours.

    You need to have an active account with UO to use the KR beta client and the game is made to run off of any of the account options you listed.  You can get this verified through their online support.

    If you goto fileplanet it specifically says "if you have never even played the game you can beta it here" so  something is shady here!

    I assume FP was a bit to early they removed the beta from there website at this moment.

    I think fileplanet just put up their beta page a might too early.

    We're talking about the FP beta version (Which I can show you the e-mail informs you to just create a new account for free)

    No, it is just bad EA wording.



    There will not be any KR payment as it is a free upgrade and any account can use the KR client.



    And yes you either need a credit card or call EA to try the game.



    Just remove your payment options after accepting it and to be sure cancel the trial account with the after 14 day option.

    Well i creating and account fine and applied the key and it is correctly showing i am an active Kingdom Reborn beta tester, however i can not login to the client, saying that my details are not, it needs to be patched, to wait a while and whatever else. I've been tryign for ages now but still no go.



    Anyone actually managed to get into the game and play with a Fileplanet beta key?

    Yep, I finally did. I had to enter my credit card to get the 14 day trial still...but everything FINALLY worked fine. I've been playin for about twenty minutes..what's the best shard to play on at the moment?

    the key is workin for me but when i try to use my solo card to subscribe it just refreshes the page when i click ok and wont let me do it anyone know y?

    Normally firefox works .....



    I had it once too with firefox when their page was messed up....



    Last try might be opera for you

    i tried opera but it dosn't work either so dunno whats up with it opera looks like a good browser tho didnt even kno about it

    Got the same problem as Bazeragi. Tried with Opera, Firefox and IE. Does anyone know a solution?

    You mean a trial account?

    You do have to enter your credit card, but it won't take effect before the trial ends, you just put it there to activate the account and take it out from the billing thing on the main website before the trial ends. And Kingdom Reborn is a CLIENT, not an expansion, so you don't really need an advanced acount in order to test it.

    My problem is that when I have entered my payment info and press ok, the page just refreshes without any indication of what is wrong. So I'm stuck at that page.

    That happened to me sometimes as well. Try to delete cookies and cache data and see if it works.

    Yeah same thing here, but i tried again and it worked. I was like phew.. i knew that credit card was right. Then as usual i killed my billing straight away. Although since i've never played this game before, i may restart it up depending.

    Besides i must have been one of the few people that Ultima IX worked perfectly for.. even if i really disliked the ending. It was still enjoyable, i have my tarot cards i got with the game still somewhere too.
