I know i been searching for the everquest anniversery for a month now in alot different stores and noone is selling Everquest anymore but they got stacks and shelves of Eq2 and Vanguard. Why they killing our game off? It makes it hard to draw new ppl when the game is only digitaly sold online.

I found the anniversary edition at five different Gamestops close to me... According to the folks at the store where I finally got mine, they were selling out as fast as they could get them, in.
So, dunno.

Our local Best Buy had the Anniversary pack and EQ2 Echoes of Faydwer (also contains all current expansions) on the BOTTOM shelf, and Vanguard was 2 shelves up at knee level. They really aren't getting prime shelving there. If you're just browsing, how hard do you look at the shelves that are down on shoe level?
I don't think that is SOE's fault. Just an observation. LoTRO had the prime, eye level shelving, with WoW and its expansion, and the preorder box for Granado Espada-- the store is likely just going with better display for the bigger sellers and the shiny new stuff people haven't played before.

I want to move to Atlanta. Or... well, anywhere that people actually get stuff. Where I live used to be rural, and now it is all overflow sprawl for Philadelphia and New Jersey. (What's up with the 50 mile commute, people?!) ... So we have all the population and none of the benefits of a metropolitan area.
The Gamestop-and-EB here don't carry EQ of any sort, 1 or 2-- they order like 3 copies, and when they are sold, that's it. In fact, they have one rack for PC games, and those are almost all RTS and FPS games. Blah. Best Buy at least has most of the MMORPGs... Walmart has Vanguard right now, but neither EQ1 or 2.

Opening your own video game store is completely not worth it unless you sell ALOT of other products. A 50 dollar game nets the store 5 bucks before taxes and other bills come into effect. I looked into it once retailers make very little off the actual game its why they push guide books and accessories so much.

You're not going to get away from to much sprawl here in Atlanta, unless you move out-side of the metro area. The Old Timers Guild

I would rejoin EQ if they made a raid-free server(with raid loot available in another way of course, not just removal) and I am not playing a MMO! Not that it is to ever happen, it would aggravate peoples who are raiding since 1999.

One - It's still a great MMO. People invested many years into this game and just don't want to give up because a new mmo comes out to only dissappoint.
Two - I can't say for myself that EQ isn't availible. Each everquest box set has always been ready for purchase at one of many gamestops in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Purchased Anniversery just the other day and they had plenty more on the shelves. Now for the SOE game card now that was somthing that i had to search for.
