Can't buy IG ship with 5000 credits!

in Starport: Galactic Empires

I bought 5000 credits and the game won't let me buy th IG ship. Whats up?

    You have to be UN sanctioned to buy that ship.

    Requires reputation of like 5000 or so.

    I believe your refering to the UN star cruiser and not the IG ship! I've bought it in other games with the 5000 admiral tokens with out problems.

    You're right, i got them mixed up.

    The star cruiser requires the UN..

    IG i assume you mean the InterGalactic ship?

    This is only buyable with the admiral tokens, eg: gotta send in RL money for it?

    Sorry if I wasn't clear. Yes I do mean the InterGlactics ship and yes, i did use real money. I have 5000 Admiral tokens but am unable to buy the ship! I do not know whats wrong. I've bought it before in other games!

    I am curriuous. I've searched the site over, but don't see anything for donating money for admiral points. Is it in game, at the admirals club? is there a web site for it? where, do I find more on it?

    Ok, first the Admirals club is where you have to buy tokens, which you have to spend on warp fuel, nukes, credits and the IG ship. The Admirals club is in the game at the starbase at Sol.

    Second, I figured out the problem. I had to manualy set the amount to 1 instead of using the slider. That worked fine for me!

    To own a Starship, you must be UN commissioned. Your reputation must therefore meet or exceed 5000. The ship itself costs two million dollars.

    image says: Reputation can be bought (unofficially) by contributing to bounty at any Starbase Police HQ. Reputation:Cash :: 1:$$400. $$2 mil buys 5000 reputation.

    He is not referring to the Starcruiser he is refering to the Intergalactics Relic Ship, and this ship can only be bought by 5000 admiral tokens, which you have to pay real money to get. Anyone even from the start of the game can get one of these.
