You're 18 and you live with your parents?  And they're bribing you to clean your room?  How sadly pathetic...

I'm not 18, im going on 17 so im 16.

But my parrents respect my gamming life and the will take it away from me if I try to do anything "Jacka*s like" like killing someone (which will never happen) from the influence from them.

I can still be punished from videogames though.

I think his point is that it seems sad that at your age you have to be bribed with a $1k computer just to clean your room. What's worse is that even that doesn't seem to provide you with enough motivation to perform such a simple chore, since you'd still rather just talk your dad into buying the game (and you don't even know how old he is???).

    Kids today...I tell ya...

Dude, I stopped using my dad to get stuff when I was like 10 or 11 (I really squeezed him for cash when I was 5-7).  It made me feel really guilty.  Don't you feel bad that:

    1) You don't know what age range he is in?

    2) You use him for your own personal gain?

That would stop me from sleeping at night.  Perhaps you should go out to breakfast with him and...I don't know...talk?  My dad doesn't share any of my interests, but we find stuff to talk about.  How much easier would it be for you since you both like video games?

Yes my dad passed away when he was 56 too early fortunately we had all the major discussions and there was little left unsaid between us.  Get a job and buy your dad breakfast he will appreciate it especially if unexpected.  Ask him about his first job and how it went... He wont be there to buy you a new computer forever..
