Defend mode ?

Okay.. the game keeps saying I am in defend mode and it will log me out in 60 seconds? What's up with that ? what does defend mode do? And how do you disable that, whatever it is. It's getting really annoying logging me off like that every 5-10 mins. How do you turn off the TIP that is spamming the center of the screen as it is getting very annoying.

All in all, I find granado espada quite enjoyable once you get used to the point and click interface and the camera angles. However the lag is atrocious (even at 5am PST) as it would take 3-5 seconds of lag before a command would execute (and I am on a 3 mbps connection from comcast cable). But I understand it's a beta server crammed to the full.

From what I have heard of the beta, I believe instead of kicking people off the server they should automatically just turn off defend mode. However without playing the closed beta, I have no clue what defend mode is. Is it patrol mode, just with different  wording? If so click the button on the bottum left side that has the two bending swords. (Though I'm not even sure if that's defend mode, in sGE it's patrol mode.) Just trying to help...

    1. You are getting lag?  What server are you on.  I have not gotten the smallest bit of lag yet.

    2. Defend Mode basically makes patrol mode always on.  So when you click to move somewhere, your characters will automatically start attacking people.  But while you are in this mode there is an anti-afk warning that comes up and sometimes does not go away until you cast a spell.  It is pretty hit an miss.  They have it listed as a known issue that is being developed.  Its a good idea... it just shouldn't be 5 minutes... or at least it should allow you to exit the auto kick by moving or clicking on the screen.

    3. You can turn auto-defend mode off by going into the options (alt+O) and clicking off auto keep at the bottom left.
