Sick of My Server

Well I started my new main character, a lvl 52 mage, on darrowmere and I've noticed that the server is dying. Its hard to find parties for any instance at this point in time, and I'm afraid when I reach endgame there will be no endgame instances to run and my epic gear will be unattainable. any suggestions on a server to switch to that has lots of active endgame guilds on it, Please and thank you.

You are not in a guild I take it?

If so, your best bet is to check out the different server forums and transfer to the server that's most to your liking.

yeah good suggestion. check out the official forums for each of the servers you could transfer your char to and see what they're like.

you could also look on www.warcraftrealms.com/ for info on populations.

Once you think you've found a target server to transfer to....create an alt on it and talk to some folks about how they think their server is.... (will allow you to reserve a name as well)

The thing about getting into end game guilds, they don't want complete trash. It will take SOME effort. I would suggest Code Blue on Bloodscalp if you were decided you liked that place. Back to the thing about putting forth an effort. If I were you, I would just get 70 for now. Get 70, and get the best gear that is attainable for yourself. It took me one month of farmng materials and upgrading gear any way I could to finally get into Evil Clownz Sect on Bloodscalp (AFTER applying).

Also, not many people run 50 - 60 instances anymore.  The gear that is inside of these instances sucks compared to gear you can get from easy quests in Outland.  Just grind to 70.  You will find a lot of people willing to do endgame.

yeah I think the problem is that very few instances are really worth running anymore, and by this time, most people are guilded and have their buddies at lvl 70 run em though so they can get the phat lewtz.  Get to 70, get into a guild and you will love the game if your into pvp/raiding/instances.

Dude you pretty much nailed it. But I am almost positive that when I get to 70 and find a guild, that on my server I'm never going to be able to do a 40 man raid, my server is just so unbelievebly empty everywhere it makes me sad, its like playing one person WoW and its just no fun. So in the end I'm probably gonna end up switching servers.
