So I am getting EVE next week once i get my broked laptop fixed. And I cant wait to play the game.
I've been reading a lot on different sites and wiki's, but a lot of it still seems like Jargon to me.
Like, cant seem to find out the actually difference playwise between different types of weapons, or what a lot of skills actually do
So I'd like someone to talk to via AIM about a lot of the questions I have.
Thank you

I am at your service in-game in the evenings (EVE Time). Just drop by in channel TOSGI (click on channels button on the menubar at the left - a window with a channel list opens up. Then enter TOSGI in the field on the top and press enter.

Thank you
I wont have the game for another week or so and I was actually looking for someone to talk to via a messenger during that time.
Any takers?
No one willing to be my tutor via AIM, MSN, or Yahoo for the next week?

If you have never played or watched a friend play I recommend you do the tutorial at the start of the game in full. After that if you join a corp, your mates will want you to succeed so in turn the corp will succeed. They will help you and bring new ideas to you.
The in game help chat channel is a valuable tool to learn new things and have questions answered. I have been playing 9 months and I consider myself a noob in the game. Often when I am not doing anything to dangerous I will have the channel open and read others conversations. I have gained many new ideas and knowledge that I would never have thought to ask about.
The best advice I can give a new player is get the skills that affect learning done first. It just saves so much time later.
