Hello to the MMORPG community.
We all know there have been a great number of free to play MMO's coming out or being ported from different markets. And to be honest many of them have just not been able to fill the needs of the ftp public at large. For various reasons, from push backs, to frustrating balance issues with Item malls, or simply an un-polished product frustrated gamers like myself have found thier way here to find that "awsome" ftp game that will become thier "main game" or possibly that "second game" that is refreshing to play from the tedium of the main game your currently playing.
With that.. I offer a humble suggestion for a new re-birth of RYL and the publishing house of TNI (Tahiti Nui Interactive) Unforgiven Wars. and SOON RYL 2 Dark Betrayal!
Most of you all know that RYL is not a new product. Infact it has been out for quite some time. Also most of you are aware of the issues of RYL Path of the Emperor (Planet Wide Games) and the complete and utter break down of the game and its community with its sudden closer and angry game subscribers (PoTE was pay to play) and for this my deepest empathy. But there is a new kid on the block through TNI and RYL is back with all its pvp/rvr glory and fun gamestyle!
TNI is in noway affiliated with PWG and is a seperate and completely LEGAL publisher of RYL: Unforgiven Wars. The Dev./GM team with TNI is thourough, active with the community and does NOT TOLERATE hacks, dupes or cheats. This is very refreshing and I can, as an active player, assure you TNI is running a robust and clearly supported RYL client.
The community of RYL Unforgiven Wars is relatively new. The client is also relatively new and for most current players considered "the perfect sleeper". Everything veteran RYL players enjoyed about the game is IN the game and everything veterans hated about PoTE, CiB or "private/pirate" servers is out. The community simply needs more active players. 
So in conclusion: If you are a pro-gamer that enjoys clear/crisp graphics, freeflowing and smooth interface, solid competition from pvp/rvr rewarded style (DAoC style) gameplay and a mature and helpfull community/publisher. RYL Unforgiven Wars is the place to be. Graphics are nice, engine is robust and lag is rarely if at all experienced.
I have been playing MMO's since alpha Asherons Call. Every major and minor as well Asian port since then. I am a 40yr old pro game vet who's active scribs consist of EvE online, WoW and still (scary I know) AC Darktide. There are alot of killer games coming out in the future.. but right now, for pvp/rvr and community.. NOTHING compares or equals RYL Unforgiven Wars and TNI Publishing. (and is free to play).
MMORPG just recently posted RYL UW on thier game list and the ratings are deceptive simply because it hasnt been on the list long enough to fairly represent the game. Give it a shot.. say hello in the forums and take my word for it as a player.. you wont regret the hour it takes to get it DL'd and set up. GO FOR IT.

1. Free to play
2. TNI published, 100% legal, 100% legit, 100% banned inforced against hacks/dupes/cheats.
3. New community of players
4. Robust engine, Awsome gameplay and graphics for its age.

And this is ran by such professional people, that they have Lineage2 goldseller ads on the front of their webpage. What a joke. And maybe I'm wrong, but I'm not totally convinced that this is a "100% legal" game, and not just another private server trying to look legit.

I enjoy the RYL games as well.. unfortunately the only "legit" publishers of Youxilands client are CiB and TNI.. (English) I agree with you that RYL 1 is skill based where RYL 2 is more item based.. But at least here players will have an option for both. Off topic wasnt about "which is better".. but that both will eventually be available.
RYL games are known for hackers true.. but then what ftp game isnt.. at least you have some recourse here UNLIKE PRIVATE/pirate servers where nothing is done about it. And the community in Unforgiven Wars is awsome.. better than most ptp and definately not bnet leet kids. I never suggested a "lie".. maybe its what youve experienced in illegal servers.. but I have yet to see it to that degree on this LEGIT server.
I dont need to advertise anywhere but where I intended.. and unless you give this server a try instead of speaking from your past bad experiences... call yourself the nub. You definately dont have the title of "forum Moderator"... nor the capacity to be civil. Maybe youve just had a bad day.. lol.

I agree that the advertising is a bit tacky.. The only defense I can give is if you dont like it.. ignore it. It doesnt take away from the game or the great community of players. I dont run the ads or the site.. so I have no idea for the reasons.. but meh.
As for "100% legal".. I can assure you it is. Unless MMORPG.com makes it a habbit to enlist games on thier list of games that represent illegal licensing.. which I am sure they dont. TNI (the licensed pulisher of Youxilands client) is a good publisher and is strong in the community of players. But hey man.. I seriously dont blame your miss trust. There are ALOT of RYL private/pirate servers out there that have jerked around the RYL game culture.. If you like the RYL gaming francise you should be happy to know that this publisher is legal and represents a good client atmosphere..
you should at least give it a shot.. youve nothing to lose really. Your points are understood and respected..

If you havnt checked RYL UW out yet or are still looking for a great game and community.. this is a reminder to give this community a shot. You will be pleasantly surprised..

just thought i should point out. free games do require a source of cash flow. the gold ad's are done via stuff like google ad bars which no one really has control over what it shows.
my advice is acually read the site and forums. trying to bash a game cause of some random ad bar is infantial.
most hackers are caught and banned right off. so saying 0% are banned is wrong as well HAHAHA apart from a lack of english ingame from the players its fine. staff acually does work. acually talks to players and jokes around...
game is worth atleast trying out i find.
having played both Cib and Pwg's RYL1 and RYL2, i find this one is better. less lag from what i got on Cib and almost all of the staff at Ex-Pwg VOL so they acually know what they are doing, and acually care about the players

maybe look at pro as a noun... instead of an adjective. You dont necessarily HAVE to make money through a "profession" in order to be a "pro" anything. But I will entertain your flame.. example of this would be me calling you a pro troll. You obviously dont get paid to be rude.. but you sure do it well.

anywho.. thanks for the chuckle. And yes I have competed for prizes/cash in several different FPS games.. and play Holdem on the side.. both are games.
anyway.. give RYL UW a shot and lets dance..put your pvp where your mouth is..

HAHAHAHA im sorry that post made me laugh. i take it you have not bothered to even look at RYL at all, are you perhaps a wow fanboy? i know they troll and flame every mmo on the market that is not blizzard but i had hopes they would leave RYL threads alone and stick to their wow stuff.
i have seen many mmos with ad tool bars PWG used one when they went free. its a way to generate revenue without relying on community donations or subcriptions. i have yet to see or hear of anyone being able to dictate what is shown in their tool bar, the only thing i have seen not shown is porn ads or such. but other then that, no one really has any control over what it shows
seeing as RYL.UW is a free to play game, they have to generate revenue some how. or do you still think money grows on trees??? HAHA. from what i can find out, they are a free to play game, with a goal of having an item mall for server revenue. but how many people acually pay for free games via item malls?? not many.
so im guessing they will use both as a revenue device to pay for stuff. atleast they are not charging a monthly fee for RYL1 like the oher legal engrish version.
