Will anything besides LOTRO and Vanguard be released in 2007?  This was supposed to be the year of the MMO, but the way everything is being pushed back, I'm starting to think that 2008 might deserve that title.

You should check out Gods and Heros. Its coming out this year and it looks like a solid game. But yes it looks like several major games will be debuting in 2008.

We all witnessed Vanguard implode after being rushed to keep their release schedule.  I would think that even if an MMO is scheduled to come out in Fall/Winter 2007....there is a good chance it won't be released until 2008.

Looking at the release schedules of 2007 it's gonna be really crowded when Fall  comes and there's like half a dozen newly released mmo on the market vying for customers.

Theres a few titles that are releasing, they are just spread out over the year. Plenty of games to tide me over until another mmo releases though. have about 4 new games next to me i haven't got around to completing yet :)

AoC, Pirates of the Burning Sea, maybe Darkfall if they ever start beta this summer like they plan, Aion near the end of the year, possibly Fallen Earth?

Why even wait anything, there isn't anyting good comming next 5 year, because almost everyone is still doing EQ clones. How many different looking griding fests we need? They never learn anyting.

Tabula Rasa, Fallen Earth, Aion, and Huxley look promising, and may break from that EQ/ WoW mold.  Even if slightly.

I'm looking forward to the end of the year, start of next.

    Wish Darkfall would release.

Aion looks the exact same as all the other games, how does it have anything different?
