My girlfriend plays wow too, she's a slow clicker, still beats the **** out of many players in battlegrounds, I always wonder
how slow those guys must be...

I knew 3 girls in my former guild (they WERE girls, I even headr them on Team Speak so ther no doubt there), And one girl in real life. So yea, there are girls in WoW.

My mom is who got me into playing mmorpg's. She use to play EQ and tried to get me to play with her but I just couldn't get into it. Then when SWG came out we started it together and played for about 2 years. We now play WOW together and my friend Jenny has just started playing because her boyfriend plays as well....
Why are you even debating this?
Of course women play WoW. There are women that play every game. Just play the numbers; even if only 1% of girls played video games, then you would still have girls that played video games. Yes, more men play than women, but that is most likely because of teh DND days of geekiness (yes, it's sad to say I was there) and girls don't want to be associated with that, and the related problem of objectification of women via avatars that do not look like real women do. I don't like fat women, but most of the women you see in video games are anorexic with massive breasts; it makes no sense. I don't want a twig, and many women are offended by the twigs.
There is also the problem with accessibility to women that comes both because of the aforementioned objectification and the attitude of guys who play games. Just look at some of the posts here about how all female charaters are creepy guys. This attitude does not encourage women to play MMOs. Even if they like games, and many women do, including my girlfriend, they may be offended often by guys in MMOs, and stick with single players games. It took me forever to get my girl to play a MMO, and the first one I could get her to play was WoW. Now, she won't stop. She especially loves getting special treatment from idiot teenagers because she's a night elf. She plays it more than I do now, which, to be honest, is weird for me.
So don't say that women do not play games. That is a stupid, stupid thing to say. If you say no women play games, you are a moron.
