I'd like to play a RP/MMORPG game that involves having houses, alot of crafting and mounts/vessels. Any tips?

    Hmmmm.... It depends on how much roleplaying u want...

    Silkroad got mounts/horses, but it dont have much RP ..  www.silkroad.net

    Entropia Universe has a well developed crafting system and they also have houses, appartments, stores, etc all player run. You can make any houses or anything yet but maybe someday. it's pretty expensive, though, so I'd only recommend it if you have some cash to spare. It has a real economy, as in $1 = 10 of the in came currency, you can cash and out. EU is also very social and a nice environment. Lots of different things to do within the crafting profession (armor, weapons, attachments, tools, parts, etc.)



    Another option is StarWars Galaxies. In there you can make houses, their crafting system is extremely well developed with all sorts of different quality minerals, which affect the quality of the item you are making. In addition you can craft houses and make them wherever you want if you are an architect (I used to be a master architect in my day... pretty neat). In addition they have all sorts of mounts and speeder bikes for you to ride. If you have one of the expantions, you can own and fly a ship also. SWG is probably your best bet for what you sound like you are looking for. The economy of SWG is also a fun part of crafting as super minerals can cost alot or you can buy cheap stuff to skill on.



    Alternatively, Runescape is really cheap, and it has most of what you want... houses which you can design yourself, crafting... it doesn't really have mounts that you own. But you can use different transportation services which are non-dynamic, unfortunately. The best thing is probably is the price. $5 for pay to play, or you can just free play.

    Tough one. Good RP games are hard to come by, due to the f2p. Try rappelz, it's fun. runescape for the community, but may bore you.
