Beta hasn't opened quite yet, as Fury is currently nearing the end of it's Alpha test. As soon as a beta date is confirmed and announced I'll make sure you guys here know it too.
To your second question; yes. PvP in Fury is instanced, with balanced teams or solo players facing off against each other.

Hmmm instanced pvp...meh guess I'll try it anyway, but will there be at least SOME type of world pvp? Also thanks for the information
I doubt it will ever have world PvP. That's for a very simple reason - there really is no world. There is no PvE. While ganking carebears out farming on the Fury engine would be very fun, there simply are no carebears to gank.
There are a lot of people out there who like to team up with 5 or 6 people and then ambush and completely destroy low level people people who are just minding their own business fighting monsters and can pose no challenge to you at all.
But I for one find it infinitely more satisfying if both people are on somewhat equal ground, and if they can actually fight back and kill me, that's where the challenges are at, that's where the real accomplishments are at, and that's where you actually learn and become a better player.
Fun, after all, is learning in a safe environment, well sitting behind your PC is about as safe as you can get, and the learning comes from coming up with new strategies when you are getting beaten or when just fighting people in an equal match, so you become a better player and have more fighting other good players

I'm a hardcore PvPer, i've played (still do) Guild Wars in top gvg teams and Fury just got my attention.
