Funcom is working on a new SF/Fantasy MMO will be based on the Dreamfall universe. It's called 'The Secret World' and plays on earth in 2012. Ragnar Tornquist talks about it here: ragnartornquist.com/

    Yeah, it is not a dreamfall MMO but there are a lot of similarities.

    This looks pretty good... I loved dreamfall/TLJ and I'm looking forward to this. MMORPG should make  a special forum section for the secret world.

    Probably misunderstood a post on Funcom's site, about making downloadable "chapters" (like Half-Life 2), and then possibly making an mmorpg of it after the storyline is finished.     Hmm... I hope the Dreamfall mmo doesn't get postponed because of this secret world thing.

    Theres no such thing as dreamfall mmo,FC have announced Dreamfall chapters,witch continiue the story,aka singleplayer game

    Not really, Dreamfall was more a matter of multiple dimensions and the interaction between them. The Secret World is more of a postapocolyptic setting with Mystlike overtones.

    Meh. I don't know what lovecraftian means but it all sounds too dark and somber for my taste.

    It means it has similarities to the works of H.P. Lovecraft, go google him, its whacky stuff. Long ago i used to play a Call of Cthulhu PnP game, the only RP I ever played where you had to regularly roll to keep your charcters sanity. Good times :)

    Looks kind of interesting. Kind of odd that it will have a Lovecraftian/World of Darkness feel since the World of Darkness MMO is in development atm. Not sure if its a good thing to go head-to-head unless the WoD MMO does poorly.
