hypothetical situation

first off do not take this seriously or get mad at me or anything like that. i know that the chances of this really happening are slim to none.   the whole point of this is just to laugh a little and have some fun with it

i was thinkin about how much time people put into this game.  i thought of a situation and started to wonder this question.  WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF WOW WENT OFFLINE FOR A WEEK?  like something happen at blizzard like a huge virus or somthin and they had to shut down wow for a week or so.  what would people do?  would they start riotin at blizzard?  would a bunch of people quit wow?  would wow eventually have to shut down completely?  how will people spend their time during that week?  would some people go crazy?  maybe even commit suicide?  i know some people which every day they play this game for like 5 hours maybe even more.  i was just wonderin what would people do in this hypothetical situation.

    Well not sure about what would happen if the game was offline for a week. But after recently quiting the game I suddenly find I have so much spare time that I'm not sure what to do with it all. Which makes me realise why I play online games. Yep my life is empty and I dont care as long as I can kill lots and lots of rats

    that actually happened when i played diablo2, witch is a blizzard game and very addicting at the time like wow is today. i am sure some people would freak out but it would probably do them good to unplug.

    hm i expected more replies to this post.  i guess not many wow players have a sense of humor lol im just kidding. dont be afraid to say anything here its just meant to have some fun.

    people wouldnt know what to do. they would realize what nerds they are and get off their butts and lose some weight

    i thought about this some more and i came up with my own idea of what would happen

    for the first 3 days their would be absolute chaos.  people will riot and bug the hell out of blizzard.  some people might even commit suicide idk.  then the rest of the week people will calm down.  some will realize that their is a world outside their house and become normal. alot of people will quit wow permanently for they have gotten a life or go to another mmo.  then blizzard would loose alot of money and the people who stayed isnt enough to get things back up and running.  and blizzard would shut down wow for good and probably go out of business.  then games like age of conan, warhammer, and guildwars2 will be the top 3 mmos with age of conan bein number 1 since itll be that good.  just read about it you know its true. nobody jinx it please.

    The Forums will be totally spammed. All gaming sites, even TV News will inform about it.

    Then, after 3 days, People will start to play their old games again, Diablo 2, WC3, I don't know.

    Then after a week, most players will go online, Forums will again be spammed "Servers back up!!!!11111eleven", then life will go on as if nothing happened.

    2 days and people are all over the forums. I think maybe a little more after 2 days and people will just resign to the fact of doing other things or playing other games.

    No need to wait 2 days, a few hours when server is down WoW general forums will be flooded by QQ and angry post. Players already crying about every tues maint every week!



    But if that really happens i believe it will free quite a number of people.....

    This would never work because Wow is run by a secret organization that is attempting to get 8million+ ppl glued too the PC then slowly feed them political subversion and voila in the near future we have an 8million man army, they've gained the capacity to use tactics (raids), to espouse propaganda (forums), to adapt to the enviroment (expansions), to improvise (10 mans).  The only difficult obstacle for this organization to overcome would be to get everyone back into shape for sitting on their arse all day.
