When will they decide which people will be in the European closed beta?

    whenever they choose. Could be a week... could be longer.

    They will let people in gradually in groups of increasing size, starting as a smallish group. U could be the first... U might not even get in at all until open beta (if that happens).

    do they let people with best dxdiag in or do they test out all of the combinations of ram and whatever you got, i suppose they test how it works on all platforms but mostly let people with good computers in. i got rubbish laptop so i dunno if ill get in or not

    From my experience of other Betas, they'll let in the people who can play WAR pretty soundly on their PC, people who are above the Minimum.  Then as time goes on it'll get gradualy slacker and slacker down to the point which we would call Open Beta, and although EAMythic aren't having an Open Beta that's publicly Open (Fileplanet etc..), my guess is it'll be most of the people who signed up.

    I wouldve thought they want a mix of strong, middle-of-the-road, and weaker PC's so they know what they're dealing with in terms of min and recommended specs. It all depends and whether they trust whoever they invite to closed beta to report back to them.

    Usually code optimization isn't high on the agenda, so they might want players with high end PC's to compensate for that.

    Later when the code is frozen they optimize it to get as many subscribers as possible.
