-the question is :

if  i buy my system now will it run later  still fine with higher settings

or should i rather wait til release before i buy a new system

The graphics I think are pretty much on par with DAoC's or at least that's the word on the street. I think you would probably be fine with what you have right now.

A lot, if not all, of the Screenshots/Videos you've seen on WAR have been done with out the "Awesome Lighting system" they keep telling us about.

I'm pretty confident WAR will run on your PC at round about the Normal settings, Balanced if you will.  Whether it would run at the Ultimate Quality setting is a different matter, 'cos theres gonna be a LOT of stuff going on in the game.

So thats Order & Destruction wasting each other + a fancy Lighting system.  It'll probably get a bit jumpy.

Buying now or later is really more a question of price, i can guarantee you any high end comp within the last 3 years will run the game beautifully. if you can play EQ2 on normal settings, you're pretty much set for the next 5 years of gaming, imo

Either you can buy now , or buy later and save probably $200 or more  on the same computer.
