You were strafeing in combat and MISS!

Is this in WAR? I hope not, i would cry if i cant strafe in combat!

    In DAoC strafing decreases your chance to hit, by a lot. WAR is going to be based on the same combat, just more fluid, so yes... strafing will decrease your chance to hit.

    well being you cant cast anything but instas,or fire a bow while moving,your change to hit would be nil.Gambryo is very forgiving about packect loss.I knew alot of people who just would just wiggle a loose router cable and almost be untouchable by melee.I think theres similar techniques to lag cast in that engine too.Think it's a windows mode technique.

    You could drag the window abit making the game lag. That has been fixed though. I dont expect to see any penalty for strafing in combat in WAR. They will probably just add a longer range to melee attacks to fix it. Or perhaps just a better net code. Who knows.
