First I went to the liquor store and then the rifle range. Then I went to EVE, then I went to CoV, then I went to Lineage II, then I went to WoW, then I went to Ryzom, then I went back to EVE, then I went to CoH, then I went back to WoW, where I currently am. I think.
hmmm, let's see.... back to DAOC, then back to WoW, then COH/COV, Guild Wars, beta for Vanguard, beta for Lotro, UO, WoW on a free server, release of Lotro and a couple other beta tests. Stuck in LOTRO until Warhammer and or Age of Conan.
I left with cu. Dont remember in what order, because none of them left any lasting or valuable impression, but WoW, EQ2, CoH/CoV, Saga of Ryzom, Guild Wars, and maybe a few other games i cant remember.
Tried WoW at the request and help of a friend, got insanely bored (you could tell the NGE was a hack version of it), now I'm using my time constructively to bash SOE and all "vets" who stayed for the NGE.
I swapped over to COH, as well as GW for a while, some Ryzom, and most recently of bit of Vanguard.
COH held me for a long time, for one main reason: my two best friends played it. The others did not hold me for more than a couple of months -- although Ryzom might have, if my large and friendly guild had not broken into 3 or 4 smaller units in some nasty internal political wrangling the very week the company owning the game went belly-up. Had that not happened I might still be playing Ryzom.
Went to CoH/V then WoW, and just about every free trial and beta... EMU.
Currently subscribed to nothing... but the Rikti invasion in CoH's issue 10 will be a re-sub.

Left before NGE to play WoW with the rest of the guild and partner guilds. After 1 1/2 years of WoW My mind grew tired of it and gave the NGE another shot. Re-sub'd to SWG a couple months ago and have been playing since.
tried RF Online but the computer I had at the time couldn't handle it so didn't get much beyond making character
tried WoW...lasted less than two months
Phantasy Star Universe
Final Fantasy online (is it XII?)
tried to check out Ultima Online but could never get in the game (Vista thing?)
tried..umm, think it was Anarchy Online
umm, think I tried a couple of others in there but can't remember what
played Vanguard, ended up getting a new computer (the one with Vista, so games are not in the order in which I tried them)
played LOTRO, beta-ed it a little, started playing when opened to pre-orders and played less than a month after it went public
went back to NGE several times throughout trying other games since none of the others measured up to pre-CU and NGE was as close as it got although it still wasn't close enough...spent as much as a few months (when some of the guildies were still on regularly...although after a couple of these returns it became mainly a chat room with my ent char performing in empty player town cantina while I chatted with guild members) to less than a couple of weeks (guildies pretty much gone, rarely on, or too busy in PvP zones when they were on)
currently playing Ryzom
hoping for something soon from Raph Koster or that Firefly MMO turns out a LOT like pre-CU (and by "soon" it can't happen soon enough since these games are still just concepts or in development...wished at one point that Koster's company could get ahold of SWG, put out a pre-CU version of it temporarily, then work on system that could truly handle how complex pre-CU was creating SWG2 that was a very polished pre-CU style of game plus)

Sgt and dirty need a bashing they continue to fanboi for the game. They're all uber now, and its the only game that they can be successful in. ( cuz it's so dumbed down now ) All other games are to complicated for them. They didn't like pre-CU cuz it was too hard. Thats way they come on the refuge and talk trash. If they played other games they'd relize how bad SWG has become.
When CU went live..I left till bugs were hammered = I played EQ2... was not impressed.
When NGE hit...
Second life, roughly 6 months and was good for music , and chatting.
RF On-line = up till about 3 months ago.. nice concept , actual game has issues... it all grind no quest... Full time PVP.... CCR is not very good at Customer support... Codemasters the host is good company but have there hands tied by teh liceanse rights to CCR
Beta tested alot of games and still do..
3 months back I joined wow caus eof many old friends from SWG and RF are all on same server.. and a few Real life co-workers.
so Im in wow currently..
Looking forward to Warhammer and Gods& heroes.
and hopefully one day Starcraft MMORPG and KotOR mmorpg...

I left SWG the day before the NGE went live. Since then I tried GW for about an hour, and tinkered with CoH/CoV a few times. But mainly Ive played WoW since leaving SWG.
I keep hearing that there are entire guilds of SWG vets playing WoW, but I can never find those guilds. If anyone out there has room for one more SWG vet in thier guild, please let me know. It would be nice to be around more familiar personalities again.

Off topic, I wonder how many times a thread like this has been started here since the CU?
