Ive not radied in VG (and never will) but WoW is the king of the raid, how does VG hold up?
Yeah Vanguard has some buffs alright
Not only do buffs come from serten casting/magic proffesions, but also they come thru dimplomacy. Below a list of buffs people can get when diplo's done their parly's around/in city's meaning not all buff will be needed as seen in the list, some are specivic for crafting or diplo, but there are allot of combat enhanced buffs coming from diplo's. These below can already make up for a large portion of buff one can carry along. Couldn't find a complete lis of all buffs but think you can get them from class-prof sites

Soldier Convince - Increase the Watch - (+5% Accuracy)
Soldier Entertain - Raise Morale - (+5% AC and Damage Shield)
Soldier Gossip - War Stories - (Card: One Fell Swoop )
Soldier Incite - Call to Arms - (+5% all attributes)
Soldier Interview - Prepare for Battle - (+25 Blacksmith skills [crafter])
Domestic Convince - The Will of the People - (+5% Melee Damage)

Like the title says this screen shot is from the test server because that's the only place raiding is in Vanguard. There are no raids right now and there wont be for at least 2 months. I've heard good things about the raids but grouping is fun in VG so dont see why raids wouldnt be, still it's not in the game and it's only on test for a few select guilds.
Reason why i posted it is because i read lots of people intrested in reaids so i thought seeing these shots on the official foum i share them with others that might want to see how a raid can look like. It isn't a "wow look at this amazing nice rich detailed screenshot". NO its just 2 shots from other people doing a raid and posted for those that might wanted to see it.
Not sure i understand those commenting on how it looks, like i said before i thought GAMERS!! came to this forum but as of late it seems we see more people just needing to vent on forum (not you atleast not here Seph. or this time
.) but the others who are childish enough to respond to how things look on the shots instead of understanding why these shots are placed.
Raids on test are well and good. But the game has been out for months and none of the raid stuff is live so people complain. For myself, VG was a great game in a group but it fell down in anything less. Maybe it's raid system can redeem the game, but I think it unlikely due to inherent performance limits. But who knows?
As an aside, I will ask what is the one rule about Teds Club?
Tbh yeh i don't wanna walk round going "i'm a gamer" "woo i'm soo cool" :S Aint gonna pull Women so i'd rather not consider myself a "Gamer" lol. I've played games all my life like many other people and i've dedicated my summers as a kid (off school) to games in the past. However now i don't really have the time due to Work etc etc.
I just think people who say "hope you don't consider yourself a gamer" is really really funny and stupid.
Anyways the game is ugly and bland and i couldn't stand playing it anymore looking at a World of blandless like EQ2 lol.
Okey, you start out with dont what to call it.
And in the end you make joke, and you are laughing at it yourself. Thinking of yourself as teh funney.
Gratz you just disregarded your first point being made.
I'm so broke. I can't even pay attention.

Sorry that you had to click this topic to see what you feel are ugly shots. I'm sorry i put you thru this and that you had to waist energy on something negative. Sorry that you don't seem to like this game (maybe) Sorry that you seem not able to read or understand why some might post stuff you don't like.
What i mean if you where a gamer you would have moved on and if you didn't like this game you would not waist your time here but you would spend time on the game you do like , unless you like this game and you feel you need to be constructive though i doubt you are able to seeing your last reaction.

Regardless, I think it’s nice to see some screenshots of high-level/raid content in Vanguard. The game isn’t totally without perks and after a few months, and hopefully some revamping, I intend to give it another try. I think that’s the beautiful thing about MMORPGs. They have such longevity and one can never dismiss them like FPS and RTS games, upon their initial release.
