Agreed, its a promising MMO but it lacks depth. Plus the 3 person squad thing is clunky.

Lots of people have got it with no problem. I took about three hours.  This game is worth the wait.  There might even be a torrent available.

I wont pay 15 a month for it maybe 8.99 or 10.99 but It's an alright game took me less then 35min to download and patch took about 5min the start is buggy and clunky but once you get 20+ it gets better i love how you can unlock classes too.

It's in beta buggs are going to be and the text needs to be fixed but overall it's worth a try 7-8/10 imo.

It wont be everyone style of game play a lot of ppl love the care bearstyle that WoW offers and don't like 100+ level games or style of korean games.

It's not for everyone but imo it's a lot more fun then WoW.

I am not a big fan of point to click movement.

I am not a big fan of not being able to remap the in game keyboard commands.

I am not a big fan of clunky and awkward in game keyboard control commands.

I am not a big fan of the L2 style anti-cheat software loading up and blocking my Ideazon USB Fang game pad.

I am not a big fan of having to grind 150 levels just to PvP.

Overall I am not a big fan of Grando Espada.

try  http://www.gamershell.com it is in 6 parts but i downloaded with out a hitch it is an ok game but the only hitch i find is that if you have 10 ppl in the 1 area trying to kill a mob for quest then it is an absolute pain cause 10 ppl turn into 30 toons which makes it hard to claim a mob very competitive but other than that i find it cool i don't know if i would pay to play it tho.

I find it amusing to note that half the people here are talking about Grenado Espada, and the other half are talking about the rehash by K2 named Sword of the New World.

Perhaps it's because mmorpg.com still fails to notice that there are two differnt versions, but yet puts both in one forum section?

    So, to clear this up:

If you are looking for TSotNW, go to Fileplanet:  http://www.fileplanet.com/

If you are looking for the original Grenado Espada (by IAH, not the slimeballs named K2network), use the torrent on their site: http://ge.iahgames.com/en/

well it took me about 3 hours and once completed i played for 2 hours, so far its not my style of game but i cant make that quick of an assumption, ill play a little bit more and see if it suites me if not then no worries i just got a little bit more experience under my belt :)

I've only mildly been following this game, but could someone elaborate some more about the key differences between the two? Wouldn't the game still be created by the same people just published by different entities in different regions? What makes K2network so bad?

The IAH verson is the 'true' verson of the game based for the Easten market, it's also currently in beta but in English and a very good translation however last time I checked the payment methord wasn't accounced although many speculate that it's F2P with item shop (also the regonal IPs are unlocked so anyone may play)..

The K2 verson is aimed as the Westen market however this one is what I like to called the 'modded' verson K2 have changed the character customisation screen about a bit and 'unlocked' some of the rare costume designs for the character to select however the translation in their beta verson is a direct tranlation not a actal one and the grammer is quite poor.. Their payment plan has been accounced tho it's F2P up until level 20 (quite easy to do) and then you can 'upgrade' to P2P which is $15 a month there is no 'downgrade' option tho..

Other then those diffrences in the K2 verson, besides customer service and things like servers and lag (depending on where you live) I've yet to see anyother differences in the games

    Bring on the WARRRRGGHH!

Many thanks Kremlik for the clarification. I greatly appreciate it. Based on what you said, it does sound like the IAH version is the way to go. I guess if I want to try it that would be the version I will look for.

    Thanks again!

Nps, however I forgot to say I'm unsure if the IAH is at Fileplanet yet however you can get it directly from their site but I do recommend a download enhancment program such as 'DAP' to help boost your download speed as traffic may be heavy and it may (most likly will) download like a slug from only a single stream

There are other differences. K2 network's version will have a different storyline and it has better controls. It also has more content then the IAH version.

The IAH version while it has a better translation currently and will probasbly be item mall, is not good for english speakers. The vast magority of the population on the english server does not speak english and many have a clear disdane for western gamers. (just what I  and my freinds noticed during two weeks of play there.) The K2N version while abit rougher in translation "right now" has a much more western friendly population, and does have more content options. The forums for the game are also up to date and the K2N is very responsive to community questions and concerns. (i know alot of people have had prob with them in the past, but let it go) many people posting about these games are really ignorant of the actual game. So get it yourself and make up your own mind.
