You can start playing it right now. Just go download it. A price plan isnt firm yet. (as of reading their site yesterday) Try before you buy. right? ;) Oh, and get the right version.

Perhaps it's because mmorpg.com still fails to notice that there are two differnt versions, but yet puts both in one forum section?
    So, to clear this up:
If you are looking for TSotNW, go to Fileplanet:  http://www.fileplanet.com/
If you are looking for the original Grenado Espada (by IAH, not the slimeballs named K2network), use the torrent on their site: http://ge.iahgames.com/en/
I've only mildly been following this game, but could someone elaborate some more about the key differences between the two? Wouldn't the game still be created by the same people just published by different entities in different regions? What makes K2network so bad?

The IAH verson is the 'true' verson of the game based for the Easten market, it's also currently in beta but in English and a very good translation however last time I checked the payment methord wasn't accounced although many speculate that it's F2P with item shop (also the regonal IPs are unlocked so anyone may play)..

The K2 verson is aimed as the Westen market however this one is what I like to called the 'modded' verson K2 have changed the character customisation screen about a bit and 'unlocked' some of the rare costume designs for the character to select however the translation in their beta verson is a direct tranlation not a actal one and the grammer is quite poor.. Their payment plan has been accounced tho it's F2P up until level 20 (quite easy to do) and then you can 'upgrade' to P2P which is $15 a month there is no 'downgrade' option tho..

Other then those diffrences in the K2 verson, besides customer service and things like servers and lag (depending on where you live) I've yet to see anyother differences in the games

There are other differences. K2 network's version will have a different storyline and it has better controls. It also has more content then the IAH version.

Speaking as someone who's been playing GE since it got out of Pre-Open Beta in Korea.  I still find the other versions of GE far better then what K2 is currently trying to do to the game.  My core group in the SOTNW beta hit 33/34/34 before I got tired of the disconnect problem I'm having.  In those 30+ levels I haven't spotted one thing different (other then the horrible translation).  So far K2 is failing to show proof why when currently other versions of GE (Korean, Japanese, Thai) are free.  That with the minor (and IMHO) annoying changes they've made.  I should pay 15 bucks a month for it.  Though currently I'm not going to be logging into the beta anymore.  If K2 can convince me (and they have a long way to go to do this) that it's worth 15 bucks a month. I'll buy it in a heart beat.   Because as I have told other people.   Granado Espada is by far one of the best games i've had the pleasure of playing to date.  I still play on a korean server as of today still.  I've spent time on japanese version as well.  I even enjoyed my time on SG GE while it was in closed beta.  K2's SOTNW just isn't doing it for me though.  And as a big fan of GE having an english version disappoint me to this degree is very upsetting.

For your disconnects if they happen often, it may be from a know bug  that has to do with your system clock. google a little app called  (time stopper) it works like a charm.

As to the translation, I'm sure it will all get ironed out before "official" release. Regardless of the rough edges the Wester verion (SotNW) has, I like it better just because I like playing with people that speak my language.

GE/SotNW is a really great game now and has huge potential. To bad so many other crappy eastern games have jaded western players.

What do you mean the "patrol thing"? In the K2N version you just have to go into options and turn off auto patrol, then you can hit the space bar and auto attack as normal.

SotNW is. It has everything the other versions has and more. you'll also have much less lag.

Disconnects don't really bother me because it's not like it is a CTD.  It just kicks me back to my barracks.  Which takes all of 2 seconds to get back into the game from.  Even if it was a CTD I probably still wouldn't care.  GE takes alot less time to get from launcher to actual in-game then alot of other games.  The only real bad problems are those that cause a PC to hang and then need to be rebooted.  SOTWN doesn't have that problem at least not for me.  Can't comment on the problems others are having.

Nobody cares if this is your game or not, thats not what the person who started this thread was talking about.  Anyways i am having no trouble downloading the game off of fileplanet, in about 45 minutes im 30% done with the game, so i'm well underway, only about 2 hours left .
