1)  NextGen game X is superior to any current game, even though game X is still in alpha and hasn't been played by anyone on the forums.  It will "kill" all existing MMORPG's upon its release.

2)  Anyone who likes a game is a mindless fanboy, blind to the many faults of their chosen game.

3)  Anyone who dislikes a game is a trolling hater, having nothing better to do than try to convince players how little fun they're having with their chosen game.

4)  WoW created all MMORPG standards, and any game using any of these standards is a WoW clone.

5)  A post in any game forum will always result in the use of the word "fanboy" (fanboi) or "hater" within two responses.

    Also, at some point every thread must contain at least once reference to SOE, SWG, And the NGE.  Even if the thread is about roast chicken breast.

    Good points.

    I forgot one:

    If no subscription numbers are available for an MMORPG, a simple guess will be a close enough substitute to actual fact.

    I  disagree.  If no subscription count is abailable for a MMOPRG, It clearly means it is dying.

    7) Anyones negative opinion towards a game in its forum is considered a flame, no matter how truthful it is, and should not be posted.

    8) All korean mmorpg's are grindfests and horrible games

    Oooo, Rollo, good point!  Why WOULDN'T you list your subscription count if your game was in good shape.  Intriguing!

    Because it is a conspiracy of course!  Remember, If you list your subs your are lying, if you don't list your subs then your game is dying.  Its similar to the reviews on this site.  Any product that gets a decent review is obviously because that company has paid the site off.

    10) If your game is #1 on the list then it IS the greatest game ever!

    11) If your game has dropped by even .1 in the last 6 months it is dieing so quit it now!

    12) any games not on top list are garbage no matter how you personally feel about them.

    13)  If your game is on the top of the list, this is only because you (and employee's of the company that made the game) have made multiple accounts to vote the game up.

    Can't agree here.  Remember, It wasnt SOE as a company, or LA, The entire game was single handedly destroyed by one man.  John Smedely.

    22) Eve-Online cures cancer.  It is the best MMO created to date.  Anyone not playing Eve-Online is a "WoW Kiddie"

    22) WoW is the greatest game ever regardless of whether you play, care or even have left because it was in fact the worst experience of your life



    23) Runescape is the worst excuse of an MMO ever simply because it's browser-based and has horrible graphics, regardless of the  fact that it has many professions and guilds not featured in other MMOs and that it has one of the largest (if not THE largest) player base ever



    24) all Korean grindfests suck but it's alright to say that TR is going to rock



    25) Funcom sucks because Anarchy Online sucks but Age of Conan rocks regardless of the fact that i just said Funcom sucks



    26) TR is an MMOFPS despite what the devs and all experienced gamers say



    27) graphics are everything, gameplay doesn't matter as long as i'm distracted by the pretty scenery



    28) the only reason Phylon sucks is because Rapid Reality never released the Chronicle...i don't care if Endless Ages was the greatest game ever (wait, didn't i just say WoW is the greatest game ever, regardless? oh well)



    hmm...that's all i can think of right now



    EDIT: got one more

    29) any single WoW player able to level their character from lvl 60 to lvl 70 in a matter of a day or two automatically is considered to have no life (regardless of GM status )



    EDIT2: 30) flaming is alright so long as your favorite MMO isn't involved



    EDIT3: fixed numbers



    EDIT4: seabass, please make up your mind on the number, lol

    31) Everyone on this site has at the very least alpha and beta tested every game that is on the list to the left or any other game in production, or even any game not currently in production.

     

    This is a thread I can stand behind.

    32. Age of Conan is obviously the best mmorpg ever, even if I haven't played it yet

    33. Warhammer Online is obviously THE BEST mmorpg ever. I know I said that about AOC, ignore that. I never played warhammer either, I just know its the best mmorpg ever.
