Family Name Question

Those in Beta right now, can you allow other player's characters to have your surname as well? Some are asking why would I want too? Well... I've gamed with the same bunch of guys for years now and we have a family name we use whenever surnames are allowed in a game. Thanks guys (and gals)

    Family are your characters. You start out with 3 (might be 4, can't remember) slots to create characters and you have to buy the others with VIS.



    Squad is when you group with someone else's family to go hunt, quest, fool around or whatever together.



    Clan is when a leader creates an in-game guild in which he can invite other families to participate.



    Faction is seperated by 3 groups:

    Loyalists: Those who want to stay under the govern of the crown.

    Republicans: Those who want to create their own government in the new world.

    Mercenaries: Those who will side with whoever they want... as long as there's a profit.

    Each clan will decide who they will side with and there are faction wars planned but not many details are known yet about this feature.

     So surname is yours. But you'd make up a clan with your friends maybe.

    Yes the Surname is all yours but there is a guild system in which you can make a clan so you can all have the same title there.
