    And what section did you mean?  I hope you are not reffering to current - Tiggs like us vets are far removed from the NGE but in her case it cost her job.

    Due to the fact this has little to no relevance to SWG, perhaps the mmorpg general forum, or LOTRO.

       Agreed, its great that she is still in the industry but I am a little sad that she is going to be too busy wiith Mythos and HGL to attend Dragon Con.

    Since Tiggs is someone well known to the SWG Vets, and since some of us felt she got a very raw deal (being blamed for all the incompetence and malfeasance of SOE, most of which she was not even remotely involved in), some of us care what happens to her and want to hear if she is doing well.



    This is entirely, 100% appropriate to this forum. It's not OT at all.

    She belongs here far more than ...others.  It is completely relevant.  She worked for SOE, on SWG, which is where most of us know her from.  You know this.  Your personal feelings about her are irrelevant here.  And once you have "Forum Moderator" listed under your name, your opinions such as this one may be regarded.

    Very glad she's doing ok.  It'd be nice if she stopped by more often.

    Personally I thought she was rather vapid and useless at SWG. Endless posts containing nothing, but still having boys running around posting, 'hi Tiggs!' everywhere she went.



    That aside, it's still good to see people getting on in life. I have no ill will to the woman, even though I thought she was crap.

    I attribute this to SWG's higher ups and management, not her. My guess is empty and pointless posts were all she was allowed to make. This particularly seems likely when, at her subsequent post(s), she has NOT made useless posts the way she did at SWG. Meanwhile, all the other SWG correspondents have made equally vapid, useless posts all along. The common denominator here is the SWG spin machine, not Tiggs.

    Tiggs was involved in the LOTRO beta , As a Gm , I talked to her one night in thebeta to see if it was the same tiggs :) .. It was and i joined the Kinship she was in , IT was good to see the name .

    Glad she is doing good. I always respected she didn't roll over for $OE like a few of the shills who worked there. I guess she liked being able to look herself in the mirror everyday.

    Tiggs getting booted from SOE was a positive move that helped SWG.

    If she was unable to back needed changes made to the game ( the NGE, long may she wave!   ), she needed to go.

     

    Our course the vets that are unable to move on will hold her in high regard, but to the vast majority of players she was not loyal to her company and didn't fit in with the vision of SWG.

     

    A good move on SOE's part, as usual - a smart company that rarely, if ever makes mistakes.

    Ummm, no, I'm not trolling. I've been defending SWG and working hard to get people to try the game and judge for themselves instead of being misled by old players that quit the game years ago and have no idea how good it is today. Any look at my posting history shows my extreme dedication to this fine game.

    Of course, lack of information certainly doesn't stop the vets from complaining about something that they now know *zero* about....

    1: SWG was never released on any console

    2: SWG is now much more of a shooter. the most important gaming platform for the shooter genre is the PC, not the console.



    so I kind of fail to see how its a "kiddy console game".
