why cant we all be friends?

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
Why must we fight amongst each other and other MMO players saying which game is better and such? I mean a game has its own uniqueness that makes it its own game.  I think we should join forces and tell how great each game is instead of telling how trashy it is compared to wow!  So how about it guys, Warhammer people and WoW people shake hands and lets make up and start a whole new loving MMO world! (except in factional war)

    I think a big reason people are comparing WAR to WoW, is that many people are coming from WoW and using warcraft as their measuring stick.



    As far as a "what game is better" debate.  These are kind of pointless as its like fighting that the color blue is better than the color red.

    i want some of what this dude is on, "lets all be friends and hold hands in a love circle" this game is about WAR. WAR is in every aspect of it, thats what it is about, forget the power grinding low lifes who keep bringing up the "WAR = WOW" topics, they just know that WAR will be a million times better than wow so they try to find its weak spots by bringing people away from it early in its development. You know what? im tired of these fudgepackers, get a stupid life a get off the WAR forums if you havent got anything better to do than make threads called "WAR = WOW", ill give you "WAR = WOW" its more along the lines of "WOW = the reason america has so many retarded fat kids". If i see one more topic called "WAR = WOW" i will find out where that person lives and beat the living shit out of them. It is so bloody annoying, it makes you think how many people there are in the world who are glued to their computer for so long they dont realise their wife has left them, they havent eaten for 4 months and that the house has burnt down around them. These people are the idiots who make threads called "WAR = WOW".  TAKE THE HINT YOU BUNCH OF GEEKY RETARDS!!!!

    Hmm weird twist started as a "down on earth" topic and then switched to a "I'm mad" topic.  Don't bother thoose people stating WAR = wow as long as you are looking forward to the game, because it will be terrific, then ignore the people that's only trying to piss other people off. Life is to short for that.

    Try to understand that for a Greenskin, a day that starts by killing someone with your bare hands and ends with those same hands being chopped off in battle is a good day!

    Well my current MMO is the forum Boards at MMORPG.com, thats my game and it's as much fun as playing most of the current MMO crop. SO as long as you love these boards we can be friends.

    I agree with op, i often come on to look for information on games coming out (Warhammer!) but i have to filter out 90% of the random posts of angry people

    ya dont kill eachother on forums i mean all your seeing is just a bunch of text when translated is a bunch of 0 and 1's i mean comon scary!  Now ingame is fine killing eachother even in real world instances! but i mean lets keep it G rated so we can all feel love and appreciation for every single thing out there and everyone, i say they need to add flower chains to games so people can always give flowers and plant their seeds of love (no grossness intended) within eachother!!!

    Fanboys from other games have been trolling this board, not the other way around. I can't blame WAR fans for defending the game they highly anticipate by flaming the jackasses and their oh-so-worshipped, end all be all games.



    Mostly WoW and AoC trolls. It's kinda sad, really.

    The only way we have to judge what shinys to spend our greenbacks on is through the ancient method method known as 'comparison'. Aye, in the olden days where you actually had to go to the store to acquire consumables, you would look at one head of lettuce and say "not that one! it's far too wilted! I'll take this other leafy one." And you go pay the man your moneys and leave, hopefully avoiding that hobo in the parking lot.



    So while there are mindless fanboy posts that are out just to increase their post counts by trolling, most of this is just simple comparison so we can decide where to allocate our distribution of scarce resources to maximize fun! So while your goal of "shake hands and lets make up and start a whole new loving MMO world!" is great, I'm still taking the non-wilted lettuce.
