Get tired of everytime you post your opinion of one of these "non mainstream games" people swirl around your post to rip that game apart? Feel like you can find information about anything without having someone make a personal attack on your opinion. Tired of the attidtudes on here? Am I crazy? Should we, myself included, just flat out refuse to take part. Or is that the purpose of this site to say : game A is awesome, no game A stinks, this is why, and i hope you and your children suffer through life because you can't spell..

Just odd that people swirl around the boards of the lesser games accusing everyone of being fan boys.. ? Isn't this a site for fans of MMo's? what's wrong with being a "FAN BOY" it would be stupid playing a game your not a fan of...

I suggest if you hate a game, feel that strongly where it makes you smile to rip it apart.. stay away :P

Theres a very big difference between liking and enjoying the game you play and being a "fanboy". Allow me to explain.

Fanboy is a term used to describe an individual (usually male, though the feminine version fangirl may be used for females) who is utterly devoted to a single fannish subject, or to a single point of view within that subject, often to the point where it is considered an obsession. Fanboys remain loyal to their particular obsession, disregarding any factors that differ from their point of view. Fanboys are also typically aggressive and hateful towards the opposing brand or competition of their obsession regardless of its merits or achievements.

its fine to be a big fan of a game but being a fanboy is when you think that the game ur playing is the only decent game ever made and every game made after it riped every idea from it.

A fanboy is just a way to lable someone as ignorant and hasnt dont their research on other games.

Fuk'em...if they rip on the game you enjoy playing, found out which one they play and do the same. Although it won't really help to better the situation any. You should be able to get a good laugh out of it. A good laugh is something that a lot of ppl these days need more of, that and beer.

MMO players are the biggest whiners ever. They are never happy. I blame it all on WoW.

hmm...agreed, but i'm happy with EQ1 right now...i was never happy with WoW...and sometimes i wonder if runescape would be fun if you could differentiate between a goblin and another player, haha (i mean the graphics need to be much better,, cuz maybe if they were, people would stop whining and play the dam game

Fanbois are people who have been upgraded from Troll status because they no longer just give everyone crap in every thread, they do everything they can to promote THEIR favorite game. I'm not saying it's wrong to defend your game, in fact, it's perfectly acceptable, but so long as you do it in a manner that doesn't breach insane fanatic boundaries. Anyone who sits around all day and posts stuff like <insert MMO title> sucks, play <insert MMO title> if you want to experience how a real MMO should be, should be taken out back and beat with an intelligence stick, severely, no, they should just be shot, no time for reformation.
