I decided to give DAoC another shot.. I played it briefly a few months ago, but thought the control was kinda sluggish, but I decided to give it another shot.
My question is what would be a good class for me?
I typically like classes who can leach life, IE Necro EQ1, Warlock in WoW,, etc..
But I also like Rogue Classes and Healers can be fun too.
Oh, and my main focus is pvp.
Any suggestions would be great.

In general sluggishness is often dependent on the race (i.e. a Troll is very sluggish but a lurikeen is very fluent and fast feeling), next week they will deploy a patch which upgrades the interface somewhat (very nice changes to chat interface) but in general you are better off using a Custom Userinterface.
Rogue classes: Infiltrator/Shadowblade/Nightshade, Minstrel, Scout/Hunter/Ranger
PvP: Mainly solo and stealther groups
Cons: Very hard to level, when playing on normal servers a buffbot is almost a must
Pros: Fun, independent of getting groups, very strong in 1 vs. 1.
Life leachers: Sorcerer and Animist (bomber specced).
PvP: Both classes very group friendly but also very soloable
Cons: Especially the Animist is a very tough class to learn and master
Pros: Very strong classes, with the Sorcerer being the most allround of the two, once mastered getting groups should not be an issue.
Healers: ClericHealerDruid
PvP: Group depended, very easy to find groups even when not skilled
Cons: Can't level solo
Pros: Lot's of honor to be gained here, fun to play. Healer is the most allround then the Druid.
valewalkers too, a very underated melee hybrid class ^^
Vamps have end tap and power tap.
