Best music in any MMO or PC game come to that...

in Ryzom


Just came back to play the trial after being away for a long long while.  I forgot how absolutely fantastic the music on this game was.

    Heh, I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but the title makes me think you are. I'm a big fan of the music written for the game, I wish they'd commissioned a lot more. I also like it that it doesn't play continuously, only upon certain events such as entering town, but a little more variety would have been great - a piece for each town, say, rather than only each capital.

    I was actually being quite sincere.  I love the soundtrack.  What a sad and distrustful world.

    Although I like the music in Ryzom, there isn't hardly enough, what music there is, is very brief.

    I agree, L2's soundtrack is epic imo. I still have the dion theme song in my head when i sleep!!!! (playing it hardcore for 2 years prob contributed to that though)

    i still like the old snes rpg Earthbound's soundtrack.  Even though it has that hardcore midi sound, it stays in my mind and makes me want to play an earthbound mmorpg.

    Earth & Beyond's intro theme was good, too, and I like the SWG music because its Star Wars music.

    Man, I hear that...  If I listen to any of that L2 music I will be resubbing like a crack addict trying to get a fix..... it takes a lot to resist the call of Aden once its in your blood........

    Finally played with my MP3 player off today. Music is good and the sound too. Kipee roar can scare ya if they sneak up on you :P

    When you're trying to sneak, don't be playing any music, because you're sure to appreciate hearing the baying predators when they're nearby and you didn't see them :).
