Gunz : The Duel, is from our friends at Ijji.com, offers a free third person shooter with a unique matrix style combat system, which allows wall running, although this ability looks cool it is very rarely used in real combat, and is very hard to aim while running across or up a wall. This game offers a few customizable features, 3 face and 3 hair styles, not very many but youll find one you like, there are a few "starter" classes, but later in the game you can buy whatever items you want. The currency system uses " Bounty " which pays you for your number of kills. The quest feature is where you team up with players and combat evil foes, this is actually quiet boring and i highly do not recommend starting out on a quest server because it will give you a bad taste of the game. The overall gameplay allows you 2 ranged weapons, like pistols and sub machines, and one melee like a sword or a dagger. The first time I played this game I loved it, in the first day I got to level 10 and the game severly lost intrest after that. The graphics tank, and the sound is someo of the worst Ive heard. The game is only in beta, if they fix some of the major graphic disability and the sound disability itd be an alright game, but they probably wont which is why i give this game a 4 : 10.

Is it worth playing again, or is about the same as ever?

We can take these deadites... with science.
It was fun, but it gets old quick.
As for the bug/lag problems the others mentioned; I had nearly no lag at all, and I saw maybe one bug? There is the occasional hacker though, of course. >_<
but really, of course you would have to shoot infront of someone, they're moving after all.
?played: Nearly everything.

Actually, you have a very very narrow point of view. Most newbs just use tumbling and automatic weapons which is an easy way to level pre 21+.
The fun in Gunz comes when you learn one of the many fighting styles, ie K-style, D-style, E-style. Wall running is commonly used by the more experienced people, and with some practice you can learn to fight almost entirely in the air (not an easy task, but its doable if your willing to spend a month+ learning the tricks and trades) As far as the customizable features, there is plenty of variety and if your willing to spend a few dollars you can get a prem set and be more unique. Most people I know in gunz dont care as much about that, its the skill that sets you apart, not looks/level. Its very possible for a level 1 to own a level 20+ if your skilled enough. The quest system does really suck imo at lower lvl ranges, with any half competant team its a cakewalk and repetitive, but you can add flavor to that as you learn the game. The graphics are optimal between balancing looks and creative fights, the sound isnt the best but you can run wmp or w/e in the backround without a huge impact on your gameplay.
I rate the game 8/10. Gunz is what you make of it, if you choose to roll around shooting expect to be bored quick. If you practice k-style or whatever your preference may be then the game gets ALOT more intense and fun.
Oh, and as far as the lag, i've never had a serious issue unless im downloading I don't lag, and im running on a 4 year old comp so not sure why you guys are.
The reason you have low ping is your probably near the server where its being prodcast at, like me it must be right next door because whenever I enter a room I have 0 ping. One thing I want to bring up is the lag, which I should have included in my rating to give it a 3 : 10. This is the thing, whenever theres the " Atlas Earthquake " sign, as I like to call it ( from GOW2 ), the player becomes invincible and, well as you could see if your in a clan war with an " invincible lagger " you cant win, so you end up leaving and your rating goes down.
Also the hacking is astounding in this game, there are so many cheats that the Iggi company dont care to fix that it ruins most of the entire game. This is the way I see, if you want to make money off of a game, then you have to keep it up to date. This is what Iggi is trying to do, there is a thing called Iggi coins, which you can buy with cash, and you then you can buy armor and weapons of the sort on the website, now thats all fine and good buy they want to you pay more for the amount of time your going to use it. So heres an example, you buy a nice gun, for about 6 Iggi coins, would get you 1 week with an item. Now the item doesnt do any good when some loser is hacking the game and can beat you no matter what.

This game can be entertaining for maybe a few weeks. The only thing that makes it original is the inclusion of matrix-style moves and sword/gun fighting which not many other shooters have. However this originality in no way means that the game is worth playing, and all of its flaws will probably outweigh its pros.
The graphics in this game are no where near as good as many other shooters that are coming out this year. All the maps are quite small. Their aiming system is not very well done either. There are a lot of hackers in this game. It's not just the normal aimbot/wallhack that you would see from time to time on even the best shooters, hackers in this game make the server nearly unplayable, forcing you to leave. The company does not seem to care very much either that their game is getting hacked and do not do anything about it.
So, the only reason that I see to play this game is that the game is free (with a cash shop), otherwise there are many other shooters (both third person and first person) that are way better then this.
