Have soem questions about this Voice Buddy ??
1) why should I try for 15 days for free then pay??in order to promote a voip program like skype msn messenger live yahoo w/ voice x-fire team speak etc.
2) most games dont allow the promotion of products with in thier game what if i get banned promoting the Voice Buddy ?? will the cost of my account time and effort be payed by the company ??
3) why would any one pay for a service u can have for free ????
please dotn get me wrong I am going to try it and see if it is worth it i just wanted to knwo if any body thought of the "dumb " players that just hit accept with out reading the terms or rules assositated with in the new game they got and hurry and install create a profile come here or to similar sites in order to get help guides etc they might go and start saying things and get them selfs banned and a free trial good way to promote ti but yea atlass bad way to sell a product

But pushing advertisement in form of sticky forum post is unethical and misleading. You might get some clicks for it but eventually it will start working against you , because you will lose thrust of your customers.
I recommend you unsticky this, or note it is an add.

That program is nto worth the time downlo0ading and installing I am now going to have to reset my voice interface with my computer thanks to the microsoft voice program that came with the voice buddy
i would liek to also ask if the program would be considered cheeting material ????? for it give u the walk through and cheats

This is advertisement - not a post.
It is even against mmorpg.com posting rules. Yet it is stickied , on the top of the forums.
It just hurts me to see how after so many years of existence this site is turning into fast add space. Now we have this sticked add posts...what is next? False posters on the paycheck posting fake hype on product and games? And than popup banners , tracking cookies , dataminers ?
Not saying this would happen. But this is a step in the general direction.

Well, I am the advertising rep or marketing manager or whatever you want to call it. And I don't really care if you believe me or not but I did not take a dollar for this.
It's not an ad (not add) it is an offer for you all, a contest of sorts being ran by other company. We run contests here all the time and since this was so abstract it really did not fit our traditional contest system so I told them I would make this post to spotlight the promotion.
Why did I post this? Well a) I think eDim is a cool company. I have known them for a long time and I trust them to be honest, etc b) I thought one of you might want the $500 for helping
I'm sure when that tinfoil hat is strapped on it is hard to fathom these things...but yes the world is just this simple sometimes

Here is a question that is a bit more pertinent, I have the software and everything, but it wont detect any of my game windows as games... I have looked for help and support all over the web,,, but none to be found, except for a sub clause in small print saying that the error could mean that the game is incompatible, which would be funny as I tried 10 different, well known games, new and old, and could not get the darn program to recognize any of them, which I presume to be my gross stupidity...

Played so far: 9Dragons, AO, AC, AC2, CoX, DAoC, DF, DnL, DR, DDO, Ent, EvE, EQ, EQ2, FoMK, FFO, Fury, GW, HG:L, HZ, L1, L2, M59, MU, NC1, NC2, PS, PT, R:O, RF:O, RYL, Ryzom, SL, SB, SW:G, TR, TCoS, MX:O, UO, VG, WAR, WoW...
It all sucked.
Adds content to the site. Adds a contest (with prize) to the site.
Meh I used it two box in EQ2 and it worked well enough if not way better then Voice Buddy a competitor of theirs. In fact I used to run in Fallen Gate, The Obelisk of Lost Souls, and Runneye dungeons with a zerker and fury and I did well in them. The zerker was the one I controlled and fury was on the second box which I controlled mainly via eDim's software. For the most part it worked well. I just needed a decent mic and I had to annunciate properly and loudly enough. It also helped that I ensured my vital commands were numbers or words that did not sound to alike. Words like sit and six can sometimes throw off the software if you garble or mumble them aloud. In a case where I might have sit and six as commands I would leave six alone and use the letter "S" as the command for sit and it would work well.
Now if you combine this voice software with a gaming key pad like the Nos 52n or Ideazon's Fang you got a pretty damn good setup IMHO. You would use the voice software to do menial things like removing dots, issuing follow, stay or jump commands, engaging auto-attack, mounting, etc.. which would free up buttons normally used on a gaming key pad. Then you would use the gaming key pad with one hand to press buttons for heal and spells that you've created macros for in game while your other hand is on your main character and you are clicking away on your ui buttons with your mouse.
So IMHO this software really shines when combined with a game key pad and you are two boxing.
Games I've played/tried out:WAR, LOTRO, Tabula Rasa, AoC, EQ1, EQ2, WoW, Vangaurd, FFXI, D&DO, Lineage 2, Saga Of Ryzom, EvE Online, DAoC, Guild Wars,Star Wars Galaxies, Hell Gate London, Auto Assault, Grando Espada ( AKA SoTNW ), Archlord, CoV/H, Star Trek Online, APB, Champions Online, FFXIV, Rift Online, GW2.
Game(s) I Am Currently Playing:
