What MMO Should I Get?

Hey guys listen, i just scored some money finally and Ive been wanting to spend it on a new MMO.  I already have WOW (and have been playing that most often), Guild Wars (dont like) and Star Wars: Galaxies (didnt hear about the NGE screw up in time).  So the game ive been looking at was a City of Heroes/Villians box set for 30 dollars.  It was the game i wanted at first.  Should I go for CoH and CoV, or do you guys have another suggestion.   I could really use the help.  I'll leave a poll out. thnx

I play CoV/Coh on and off it is a really awesome game but can get boring after a few months. The customization in the game is almost endless. With issue 9 they added inventions which finally gave people something to spend their money on. Anyway if you like a really fast paced mmo I would go with CoV/CoH.

    Pros:

    Fast Paced

    Customization

    Community Rocks

    You can solo almost anything

    Missions are instanced and scaled.

    Tons of powers.

    cons:

    Lack of enemies

Lack of things to spend your money on

also it will give you the alt disease.

I will say this. WoW is still a good game if you havent played it to the end. The grinding is what sets me off. LoTR Online doesnt offer anything new, except the music system..but i believe its been used in the past. Eve is a boring game of point and click! UGH! i tried the 14 day trial, played for about an hour, said wtf am i doing. and uninstalled. CoH / CoV there is a trial. I was >.< close to buying it, but i decided AoC was coming out as well as WAR. After those come out with trials/betas for me to try out i will make my decision. AoC requires a good rig though, like a WICKED GOOD RIG. So yeah, WAR i have good expectations for. I tell you to buy a couple good FPS games like Half Life 2 w/ CSS, CoD2, and download mods for halflife two. It will keep you occupied while you wait. But if you wanted to buy one now, i would say either stay with WoW, or go with CoH/ CoV

thnx for the reply but i was wondering...cant you fight villians/heroes as other PC's or is each game in a totally different world?

Heroes cannot actually go to the Villians zone but there are zones set up for PvP is thats what you wanted to know. The PvP in this game is pretty good but dominators and blasters reign supreme.

as much as i like CoH/V i'd have to say get the demo first, play your ass off, see if the pattern and style suits you or if you're gunna find it repetitive in a short amount of time. from the games on your poll.. i'd have to say eq2. it's surely the largest game on this list and prolly the most versatile.

UO!!!! dude it's about to be reborn. It's got the most choices in what you can do with your characters skill wise. Character editing kinda sucks..... okay it really sucks. But skill wise and crafting and housing and gameplay it's the best. Theres nothing better than UO. It has lost alot of player base but it's still good. It would be nice to see somenew faces on there. Don't come expecting pvp though it is run by hackers :( ANother good game to start though would be DAOC it's got amazing gameplay pvp wise. But it's kinda like WoW in how after a while u have to join mass parties to kill anything. Don't go WoW! WoW blows. It's the same thing over and over with no point in really playing except achieving a high level. Theres no variety in it. Avoid it!!! But don't just listen to me try alot of stuff. Thats what I had to do.

UO is kinda of old to be totally reborn.. Unless you mean they are just totally remaking the game. If I was getting a new game though I would not get the oldest game on the market. I mean yea it was good way back when but now I think better things have come along, but everyone is in-title to their opinion and I respect that. Oh, and when you say try a lot of stuff you are right. People can't really pick what you like for you but, we can try..
