they keep saying if you can run oblivion you will me ok.but a notebook, zomg.oblivion is a very demanding game, they test video  cards on it its so intense on graphics. The game will uprage over time too,and im sure a DX10 card in a note book is expensive.

I play oblivion ok on a 7800 card 2GB of ram and a amd 3500. think note books have a 7700 card.gonna be a pretty pricey notebook.if you can, try to get a notebook with a standard resoloution so the screens not little or blockey.

I'm a big hardware geek,I consider a new rig like the birth of a child,so if you need any help pm me,i research this crap all the time.

I know people are saying that if you can run Oblivion, you can run AoC. Nothing official has been released yet.

Athelan stated in his interview posted a few topics down when asked:

A lot of people are really wanting to know the requirement specs Age of Conan is going to have, so they can make sure whether their computer is up to par or they need to upgrade. Can you tell us the specifics yet or an inkling of what they might be leaning towards?

"I can tell you the same thing we usually say which is to hint towards another open world based single-player 3d role-playing game released last year (Oblivion). We know that sold really well, and we tried to make sure we were in that spec range. This means that most gamers out there should be able to have a great experience with Conan. I personally have run it on a number of configurations and would say I prefer to have 2 gigs of ram and a more than 256 meg GFX card. "
