ESPN's "Who's Now" Top 32 Athletes

I saw the list here sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story. I noticed that there isn't any MMA athlete there. I nominated Randy Couture ! For a guy who left UFC and then came back, at age 43, to prove once again his dominating might and skills, and deafeating then-champion Tim Sylvia by unanimous decision claiming his third UFC Heavyweight title, he truely deserves to be on the list.

I agree . Randy Couture deserves to be on the list. I mean he is one legendary guy at the Octagon. His dedication as a class A fighter and a champ is more than enough to land his seat at the list of  ESPN's top athletes.

I can't stand ESPN sometimes....stop pretending that golfers are athletes.

Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

I agree 100% dude. Looking through the initial list...looks like ol' Tiger Woods is headlining the roster. All the more we need to nominate more deserving athletes like Manny Pacquiao,Kobe Bryant (although he is 100% included) and Randy Couture .

What the hell is up with everyone holding up Vince Young. I like the guy too, but he didn't perform last season. Sure he has the potential to really make a name for himself this year, but last year he was below average in my book. The thing I really can't get is EA putting him on their Madden 08 Cover. If they wanted a rookie who performed well they could have gone with Reggie Bush. Personally I don't like him as a person too much, and he isn't the best RB by far, but he certainly made a bigger impact than Young.
