Greetings Tanakka,

Thank you for contacting Sony Online Entertainment In-Game Customer service. This is GM Flous. I am sorry to hear that you could not loot an item 'Grim Earring of the Night' from the chest as you got booted from the raid.

I investigated your issue and found that item in question was not looted by any of your raid member. You will be glad to know that I have reimbursed you an item Grim 'Earring of the Night' at this time. To learn more about EQ II reimbursement policy, please visit:

Thank you for your patience and understanding and for providing us with the opportunity to be of service to you. Please feel free to contact us again in the case of any further questions or concerns.

Thank you for playing EverQuest II.

This was one of my guildmates. GM's truly being helpful. Gotta love it.

    Thank you

WOW....I must say I am completely shocked. I meen dont get me wrong I think its awsome that it turned this way. I'm just wonderin if all the bad customer service reviews is actually making them turn over a new leaf. I Still remember when my spirit shard was unrecoverable due to being in a wall that it took a gm 5 days to even respond.

This is good.  If SOE's customer service could be more like DAoC's or (dare I say it) Blizzard's, we'd all be eating steak.  Here, here for CSRs who make a difference.

I personally haven't read any bad customer service reviews as far as EQ2 goes unless it was something to the effect of "The GM wouldnt give me what I wanted so customer service is horrible".  I think most of the SOE bad customer service reports are SWG vets being emo.

Great the OP got what he deserved!

One thing to note. Reporting good outcomes is not the norm with people in general. Usually a person getting good service might tell one person. While a person getting bad service will tell three. Just human nature. It's refreshing to hear a good outcome story in these forums as we usually just get the crap. Another thing to note is that often the "bad service" is a result of being a bad customer. Like the guy who posted yeterday about getting bad service when buying a game time card. In his post he failed to mention that the phone number his PayPal account was under was invalid. Yet he still posted about how bad the company was. Thanks Val for telling us this one.

    ok....soe bashing. Here we go.

released eq2 saying froglocks were available form a quest from the start ..yet the quest wasnt added for a almost 6 months.Isnt that false advertising?

eq1 after a couple of expension (happened more then a few times) all servers crash....some down for days. To correct the do a 4 day rollback. (in essence alot of people actually lost a week due to downtime and rollback) Yet they come out and say no one will get credit twords time or anything else, Just basically a big oops our fault oh well.

need we bring up all the screw ups on SWG

It isnt a matter of "oh i didnt get what I wanted Beacuse ive actually had a gm present in an attempt to turn in a broken quest. When the gm actually admited it was broken and refused to reinburse me the items that had taken a month to get that he witnessed me turn in.......well that just speaks for itself.

I like the game..HATE the customer service
