ive tried lotro and didnt really like it, and i want one similar b/c i loved WoW it just got boring, so i want something that has the same stuff as WoW like lots of end game shit, PvP, nice graphics. and i would also like a MMO that has combat like WoW, like you push the button and it attacks theres no queue for the attack it instantly happens, LOTRO has a queue, EQ all them.

It still has a lot of bugs but Sony is working on them. The graphics are fantastic. The fighting is the same as similiar games with some finishing moves.
I like to solo and can do so relatively well with mobs 2 levels above my character's level.
If you are into crafting that seems to be a newer version of EQ2's. What I find interesting is the diplomacy, but then, I have always liked a good debate and in Vanguard they are especially good since the people can not talk back !! except in words, hehe.
Oh, my! Seriously, do yourself a huge favor: Get out there, spend 20.00, try SWG. I am considering buying and overnighting a box of SWG for a buddy of mine. I offered to buy the game, and pay the monthly fee, for a relative of mine that plays VG. It is that fun, that awesome.
I understand the controversy because it is not a game. It is like the movies, playing in the movies. The sounds, the music, the environmental effects, the blasts are all like the movies. You met Captain Han Solo early in the game. I love it! The cantinas are like being in actually catina, with the charged energy of an actual club. It is very cool. People have like their own mansions, houses on various planets and towns. I know a guy that is a Mayor of a town in which the residents can vote him off! It is awsome. You can get like a bunch of vessels and stuff (you can build them too). I was on a "yatch" which is like a cruise ship in space, with a bar and all!
The server I am on, Starsider, is totally awesome and alive and well. I need to get back and level my medic, because I am joining a Pilot guild and going to be a crew member.Ha ha! It is awesome. I swear, you got to try this game. I was TERRIFIED when I went to the store to buy it. ROFL. I thought Jabba the Hut was going to reach threw my PC and eat me! (btw, you can kill huts in the game,v ery fun!) Edit: get the game and tell me what you think after a day or two. Play on my server with me. My character's name is Johvis.

for vanguard ive only heard bad things about it, i know it has fantastic graphics but i just dont like thatkind of combat, i love WoWs combat where you push the button and it attacks not you push the button and wait 5sec for the person to do that move, you see what im sayin?

I like Vanguard's combat. It is very active. You will be more effective depending on what abilities you decide to use, what stances you are using, and what order you use your abilities. Some abilities will be more effective against certain encounters.
I am not sure what you fully mean by wow's combat, though.
I mean, I also miss EQ 1's combat where I could auto attack on my warrior, send in my beastlord pet, position my beastlord, click a Heal over time on my cleric, slow on my enchanter, and take a sip of my coffee!

I like Vangaurd though I haven't played in a while. I thought maybe it was going to sink because it got such a bad reputation. It's actually not a bad game. It has many things that you can do. There is a very large variety of race/class combos and each class has lots of skills. If you want to find out what the orignal EQ was somewhat like Vanguard is the game to play. The classes are very similiar and so are the skills they use. I may try it again.
Warhammer looks like it will be close to WoW though probably it will be more like DAOC. Both games were strategy games originally and both use similiar art. We wont know until it comes out, but I'm getting a similiar feeling looking at the art even though it's more detailed.

LOTRO is very similar
why would you play a game that is similar to the one that bored you?
My cool sig: Turrets suck.

I like CoV, more focused on fast pasted combat than, spending hours walking, or hours crafting or hours doing anything really.
And I really love the travel powers at level 14.
Sci fi: SWG. (This is the most underrated game in the history of gaming)
Fantasy: Vanguard or EQ 2.

I prefer Final Fantasy XI, myself. Your tastes may differ, of course.
