also what happened to the company (take over, liquidation...so on)

 

and i am NOT talking about SOE

MMO wish list:

-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

    am sure it was Verant Interactive. .but they where part of SOE anyway..

    not sure who else was involved...

    I am pretty sure it was SOE from the beginning. Certainly from very early on and long before it was launched, it was SOE.

    It's a combination of Verant Interactive and SOE.

     

    VI created EQ and was building SWG

    SOE bought VI which gave them EQ up front, and they also got the SWG license/build team from VI

     

    I can't remember how long from when SOE bought VI that SWG launched but I think it was at least a year, it's hard to recall SWG had many delays in getting out the gate.

    SOE, built and designed from scratch.

    The lead people were brought in from scrapped Privateer Online and Ultima Online.
