so far all of the screen shots all of the people have been looking like they were roman soldiers, i just wanted to know if there was going to be iron and steel full plate equipment and if there will be any un-real material like mitheral and stuff because i kinda wanted to play a more medival game but i am playing it on my 360 cause my computer won't meet the specs of any of the games.
so just wondering if anyone knew if all of the equipment would be bronze age looking or not?

Without knowing the Conan series very well, it seems to me that there will be a whole variety of armor, weapons, and other equipment.
I wouldn't worry too much about it right now.
Here is a link to a place with some screenshots of both armor and weapons, you'll see some of the various styles, Cimmerian, Stygian, Aquilonian, Zingaran, Atlantaen, and Vanir. They do look unique, so you'll see plenty of variation.

Thanks alot I just wanted to make sure conan had what stuff i was looking for cause i didn't no if i should just wait intill the new square enix mmo or not but ive decided on age of conan now thanks again
i believe there are more other armors than just plates......
but i just want to play the game!! grr..........
I wonder since there is numedians and shemite and atlantean weapons and armor why there isnt any hellenic tribes ,weapons,armors .Or is there any and havent found .
They can easily implemented since aquilonians refer as romans why not some greek weaponry armor and tribes are excluded .
Well, I suppose it would be best if someone with knowledge of the Conan lore answers that, but to my understanding they included the most important locations of the film and books. So if there is a Hellenic civilization in the Conan universe I'd guess they would add it later to the game. If there isn't otoh I'm not sure they will at all. Perhaps they'll grow weak over time but so far I get the impression that at least with the original launch they intend on sticking to Howard's perception entirely without comprimises.
From my understanding, they are trying to stay true to Howard's vision while maintaining a workable MMO.
I've little doubt that many different armor sets and options for players will be available.
Greek items and weapons are necessarily part of the Hyborian Lore, although Aquilonia itself as a country takes a flavour of Roman and Greek styles with it. Symbol of might in the Hyborian Age, Aquilonia with her legendary armies of Bossonian archers, Gunderland pikemen and Poitanian knights, wields indisputably the supreme military power of the Western world. More than any other kingdom, however, Aquilonia lies surrounded by grim and unrelenting enemies.

And then reading Conan Lore
There are so many weapons and armors still to come from all over the land. What we had was a taster. In my guild the Acolytes I set an extensive post up for discussion on the subject. Some of the pictures folllowing give a clear indication of the way things look in the game. The difference from each region is present in a really eye pleasing way! There is much more to come don't worry!

Plus some Atlantean Stuff with which there is a similarity to Hellenic stuff in a way.

Personally I think they have done a great job lore wise from literature to game!
