    Have they even sent out beta invites yet? Did you get in rathma? I saw you post a screenshot of your desktop with the client, but how did you make it in? Man I hope I make it in!

    according to the EQ2 boards internal beta started awhile ago not long after E3 but the closed public beta isnt until july with the euros.

    Phase I beta started on the 19th. This is what some people call the 'friends & family' beta. They've been doing internal beta testing since before the E3.

    Believe it if you want, don't if you don't....


    Bring up the Beta login screen by installing the SOE launch pad. Then running it via **"C:Program FilesSonyStationLaunchpadLaunchPad.exe" /game:eq2**

     That's how i got the launchpad too. But i can't get past the login screen. And i don't want to try to crack it or anything just incase i get banned or something.. I'll wait to see if i actually make it in beta.

    Nothing to really crack.  You still need the client software CD's and a valid beta account CD that you enter through the launch pad.

    I'm really looking forward to EQ2, too, but why do people think of tricks just to look at a useless login screen?
